What Happened with Items
you had something really special here, but I'm not even to maps yet (couldn't play much on console release and played a little more today) so I will wait to see for myself.

If 500-1000% (stackable) bonus caused a problem, do you not think that insane number will be a problem in the future? Hell, it already is with the very lucky (or cheating) few getting 40+ divines from a single monster while the rest are struggling for alchemy, scouring and chisels. Instead of having a way to incrementally increase the difficulty as the character progressed (stacking more and more league mechanics, going higher in delirium, etc...) we now have a complete lottery and an extremely spiky baseline that still scales exponentially in difficulty, but less so in reward with other mechanics. |

so 90% off the loot isn't gone, technically, it's just in this "super fun" loot goblin you now fish for like in Diablo 3, which was the least fun thing in that game too.
most important harvest crafts for high end stuff (keep pre/suffix and divine rares) still not in the game, so no more "carrot on the stick" on that front. lake still not rewarding enough for the difficulty. map juicing not rewarding enough for the difficulty and/or cost. so, philosophy no.1 seems in a pretty bad spot, which is what we are all trying to tell you for a week now! at least the apology made sense and seemed honest. |

Knowing that a lot of people take a week off just to play your leaguestart, and end up leaving mid-league...screwing league start massively and taking a whole week to recover is a bad step.
It is surprising to see players are willing to spend 24/7 on your game as soon as league launches... But that workers release the league and just fuck off for 3 days. This has caused many issues in this league, and in the past leagues as well. If the game is still in a "good and playable place" at the moment, I think we can realistically say that league launches (or at least the first 3 days) are not worth it anymore. And its kinda sad (for me at least), because league launches is all I wait for all league long. |

Sounds great, please improve.
I think most players just adapted to the state of reward's. I remember exactly when I started and learned the game, everyone said that rarity does not matter because it does not increase currency drops. So the best strat was to Alch and run, because more easy maps with a lot of rares and league mechanic rewards, was more rewarding, then making less hard content(e.g. rolling DMG mods on maps). I think shifting rewards from Clear speed and amount of mobs To difficulty and rarity/quantity bonuses makes sense. |
