Chris, continuing to lie won't solve reality. Like censorship, it will bring more oil on fire.

It was not tested, you don't play it and it's still not doing what you claim it to be. You're doing actually the exact OPPOSITE of the claimed philosophies, in case you didn't notice.

There are TONS of good ways to optimise performance and get rid of graphical vomit (if that is the issue you're trying to solve) that were proposed by players over the years, ALL were ditched into oblivion.

hope the spoiler will avoid unecessacy censoring. After all, 141 pages sor far is not enough proof something still is wrong ? Just start to LISTEN to players

There should be balance of loot from kill large quantity of monsters loot vs loot from specific rare or unique monster. Not loot from lottery treasure Solaris Arch Nemesis mod.

There must be adequate returns to BREAK EVEN spent resources to juice maps or challenge harder content, but normal kills should give back resources to maintain sustainability. Else set challenge difficulty free and players can choose.


I usually don't bother wasting my time on responding to anything in the forums. But honestly trying to say that most of the changes have made the game better isn't true.

Maybe some people who where cheaters using the tool to get divine loot explosions in maps benefited and that's what your talking about the exploit looters. But when I jump into the new league mechanic kill a stupid hard rare boss and get some armor scrolls or a white armor set loot explosion after running all over the map trying not to get killed by it that tells me I'm wasting my time and the chests in the league yeah they drop items but usually its trash.

I don't have 24/7 to play I'm not a streamer making a career out of poe but usually I don't have a hard time finding currency and enjoying the game but I found myself not able to gear my characters without doing the chaos recipe only to make a brand new character to loot all the chests in heist to try to make a divine after hours of game play across the week. But good job grinding gear games you did some patches and tried its just not good enough for everyone. I don't mind a hard game but killing monsters in game still isn't rewardable.

Poe was was supposed to be fun like diablo 2 I thought that's what the vision was based around. You guys did such a drastic change on the game play without even doing testing and feedback its like if you decided to bring out POE2 tomorrow without testing anything and 90% of the game wasn't finished you know what the result would be people would say I'm leaving to go play a better game.

Communication is great but you guys still should be doing beta tests. I worked on a game server for years and even when you thought a patch was going to be flawless people would find some kind of bug, find faults with the way it was programmed or just other feedback to make it better. Do you just hate the community so much at this point that it's better to just ignore the player base and keep making changes you feel brings the game to some better place.

If your trying to go with some loot system that isn't mass killing large numbers of monsters then you can't have rare or special monsters drop practically no loot. Should use some kind of pool based system then where certain monsters have a 100% drop rate out of 1 item out of the pool. Reason being is when you use RNG systems even with 200% quantity and rarity you can still roll 0 its RNG.

That or remove all the normal monsters from game start making a detailed questing system like a normal mmorpg where you kill x mob 10 times to get loot from a quest NPC and make hard unique bosses that drop loot cause it feels like you want to make the game more grindy and be like a mmorpg.

We will see how long I stay playing poe at this point but really if the community is gonna keep getting ignored and beta testing as well as listening to feedback doesn't happen there's plenty of other games coming out over the next couple years maybe poe finally hit the point that its no longer the best free to play game. Cause I used to tell my friends that but now I'll start telling them to just wait for AOC or something else.

Yes Sentinel dropped a lot of loot AND PEOPLE LOVED IT! Why are piles of loot bad??

Yes they could go to the lake insted... which then dropped 3 rare items from 400 monsters... it was then buffed yes.

Now you can get 12 random rares with bad mods and 2 alchs! - WOW


- Just revert the loot changes and Harvest Changes, Loot and Harvest were both in a good place, and keep the Archnemesis Nerfs - people liked those.

Literally GGG you are on borrowed time own up to your mistakes and revert 3.19 changes and 3.18 Archnemesis mods before you don't have anyone left to pay your bills.

This is not dark souls, stop trying to make every rare fight based on playskill. I play this game specifically so I can outgear and trivialise fights.
If you don't notice anything else, please understand something very important.

You have an atlas tree.

You can do massive amounts of "beta" testing by using this atlas tree. 3 weeks into a league when things have settled down, add some keystones that do weird stuff.

Set an atlas skill point and the old beyond becomes the new beyond. Is it worth it? Is it okay? Does it need adjusting? People will test it for you.

Set an atlas skill point and rare monsters become archnemesis! Now, I think this should just be standard, but even if not, if you had this be a keystone, people could have tested it for you ahead of time and archnemesis could have been tuned more properly from the start.

The atlas passive tree is an amazing development tool. Please use it.
Very well written. Thank you, Chris, for doing your absolute best. Your game and vision really help me have fun and enjoy the game bit by bit. I know there are many things that players do not like, and, in a way, their voiced opinions and views are helpful to keep making this game awesome, and yet I on the other hand feel as well that everything is excellent and that I can trust everything you have done. I am just the single minority, and this comment is not as important as most in here, but just wanted to thank you Chris and voice as well that I am truly so grateful for everything you are doing for us. I am patient and understanding and again truly grateful for creating such an awesome game.

Probably my only concern is how you emphasized being the PoE1 director vs the PoE director. I really hope that when PoE2 comes out that you will still keep being around for us. We all love you and support you in our own way. Thank you so very much.
