I don't see how rain of splinters is even good in mapping, you lose damage and you can only get 1 fuse per totem, the additional arrows doesn't add to the fuse count.

Its a personal preference, because even with proliferation I thought the clear feels a lot better. And on top of it the chance that your totems do hit a "moving target" is way better, too. If you have all your totems down on a boss that is moving, it could happen that 1 or 2 of your totems missfire, but not with Rain of Splinters.

Like I said, its only a preference, but for me it felt better.

I personally find Rain of Splinters really really good for the most part.

Th clear definitely feels better when you are still progressing your gear.

But once you hit a certain DPS and attack speed threshold it's benefits taper off. When fully geared with end-game items, you can't really feel a difference with clear.

It's a similar thing with ignite proliferation... Once geared out and you are at a certain threshold, you can barely notice a difference if you have it or not.

You can kind of see here in the first 30 secs of Uber Cortex with the clear... This is using no rain of splinters or ignite proliferation. The DPS and attack speed, and explosions are big enough to kill everyrhing.

Ultimately, I would say use Rain of Splinters and Ignite Proliferation until the point you can barely notice a difference.. then just swap them out.

That 3.19 POB is a quite a funny POB warrior one.
Filled to the brim with recombulator gear, non functional stuff like divine blessing, molten shell enabled etc.

nice
Isnt 2% damage loss a lot in this case or am i missing something

Its 2% less per arrow per totem so that even double dips on totems right?

So that should be like a loss of 2*20+7*140 ? idk something is wrong here since idk if the 140 counts maybe its just 2*7*20

It's 20% less damage if we are looking at the EA skill only, but ~50% overall nerf if we take into account everything. (Divine blessing, RMR nerf)

Maybe dropping down to 3 50% aura might be a good idea. Sticking to malevolence, purity/ wrath, determination for bossing and determination, grace, purity for mobbing. The last slot can be for vitality/ precision. Would need to mess around with the PoB in the future after mid league.

Palsteron explained the nerf yesterday or 2 days ago in a short video he made about Explosive Arrow. I hope I dont get something wrong but it is like .....

Easy start with "100 base damage" per fuse to calculate.

Patch 3.16 and before: 100 (base) - no multiplier - 100 in the end
Patch 3.17+3.18 (the last 2): 100 - 20 fuse max with 5% - 200 in the end
Patch 3.19 going forward: 100 - 20 fuse max with 3% - 160 in the end

Thats it, 200 - 20% is 160 - so we have a 20% damage loss on bosses where we are able to stack 20 fuses. On mapping he calculated app. 9% damage loss, not more.

But like GodIsAGirl mentioned, there are more things the endgame build used, like lifetap extra aura, little more RMR, etc...

When playing next league, it will/should not be a problem at all, EA is fine and will be great for all the game has to offer, but getting to the max DPS potential will be harder, but will not be needed - IMHO.

Yep they've been done in 3.19, and in 3.20 and 3.21 too.

:p
Firstly thank you for the amazingly detailed guide!

I plan to play this league with this build since it seems quite budget friendly.

Approximately, how many exalts will be looking at spending to achieve the gears you have linked in your pob?

As I have limited time to play after work, I won't be having extensive time to farm nor am I in rush to finish all content in the first week.

It helps having a target to work towards as I farm!
