Too bad the mana efficiency on Reservation Mastery has been deleted with 3.19.
One aura less, right? Any suggestion which one?
The mana reservation is not that big of a deal, you can go with reservation on helm or rare chest, you can take a small cluster with 6% or 12% and with 50% for determination. You can get rid of helm entchant damage and take 30% reservation for Purity, etc., etc..
If you want all the auras still in the build, and a damage aura (lifetap for free is gone) you will have to invest a lot into the things I wrote above. I personaly dont like that and will play without a damage aura. Off course 40mil+ (Ignite DPS) will be extremly hard to reach after all the changes and the nerf to EA, but that was never needed and if you reach app. 10-15 mil damage in endgame, you are still cruising threw the game - IMHO.
This means attack speed for most people would need to be roughly 2.2 to hit 20 fuses depending on your chance to hit.
I love your written build guide and your knowledge in general, but I have to say you are wrong on this part, sry. If we have a skill duration of 1.55, which we never want to have BTW an APS of 1.95 would be enough to get 20 fuses in the monster if its a boss where we can put our totems down before the fight starts, and thats normaly the boss calculation.
If we play with Malevolence, we should go with 0% quality on our gem and we shouldnt take the skill duration mastery. A higher skill duration helps us so we can have lower APS, but in gameplay a high skill duration is not a good thing for us, because it means that our fusings take longer to explode on the monster - we dont want that.
Thats all only IMHO, but Palsteron explained it very well in his long video before starting this build app. 6 months ago for 3.17 !

For an easy calculation I will use 1.2 sec skill duration, 2.5 APs, 5 totems, 100% hit chance, and all totems down when the fight starts !
Totems 1st shot hits the mob - now the skill duration timer starts - but 5 fuses are allready in the mob.
Totems 2nd shot after 0.4 sec (2.5 APS), 3rd shot after 0.8 sec, 4th shot after 1.2 sec. 4 shots x 5 fuses is 20 fuses in the boss after 1.2 seconds, but off course because of server ticks something like 2.55 to 2.6 APS would be safer in real game.
Edit 2:
If you have 6 totems, which we normaly have it doesnt change anything, because it jumps from 18 to 24 fuses. The only thing it changes, and thats a big thing, you maybe dont need 100% hit chance, something like 84% would be enough in theory to get 5 hits out of 6. I think thats an interesting note.
Too many people try to overcomplicate Explosive Arrow. Some streamer put together some crazy spreadsheet to try get accurate calcs.
It's not needed.
My calculations were a simple example and all you need to know is that more attack speed = better and fuse duration can help to stack fuses if needed.
Also, the calcs you mentioned work fine on a single target. However, there are many bosses that have multiple targets and you won't have all ballistaa shooting at that single target, so your total count will be lower and drastically affecting your DPS. For example, Uber Elder with both Elder and Shaper and adds, or Maven brain with adds etc etc. You're not getting all your fuses on a single target.

DoT damage now has hardcap (~36kk).
Fun fact, in patch notes no one talked about this change...
That cap was always there.
The hard cap applies depending on the boss level.
So an Uber Pinnacle Boss gets capped at 36million DPS WHICH WE HIT.
This is the equivalent of approximately 160 million DPS pinnacle Boss DPS or so. Hard to compare now that POB is updated and only showing capped numbers.
But when I was at 185million pinnacle Boss DPS last league my uber pinnacle DPS was about 50million.
36million cap is very different between regular boss, pinnacle Boss, and uber pinnacle.
So if you can hit Uber Pinnacle DPS of 36million then you have reached the pinnacle ignite DPS in the game... Equivalent of what you see in my videos.
I didnt do the math on this, but you could be right.
Out of my head without POB I would say it could be the best body armour if we use empower instead of Lifetap/Inspiration. But in that case its only useable in a Mageblood Setup with the reduced mana cost crafted on a flask.
As long as we have to go Lifetap or Inspiration with a lot of -mana on jewellery, I dont think we will get more damage out of Diallas, and on top we dont get any useable defences or life from it. So IMHO its only for super-endgame with Mageblood and maybe only 3k to 3.5k life.
But I definitely will check it in POB, maybe I am wrong.
The above is insanely well all-rounded. It's a slight tweak of what I did in 3.18. If you can achieve the above gear you will just demolish everything in the game.
Considering the Ignite cap in POB now, because we had just insane numbers in 3.18, the tree offers so much flexibility now which you can use to just stack defences.
So the above is ignite capped AND more defensive then what I was playing in 3.18.

It still wouldn't be better than something like this, +1 curse is a big damage boost along with additional rmr and supression.
