What does numeric value on Glorious Vanity exectly do? I get that it changes small nodes, but for what value should I look exactly? 8k is terribly expensive at the moment considering my small budget.

The numbers don't mean anything. Each jewel is different and it's random what keystones you'll get. It's even different for each player too afaik.

Depending on the price of the jewel you can either buy, try and resell or use divine orbs until you get the passives you want.

Hey there!

If you're using Expedition's End, you should be using the Ritual base item that has Exposure on Hit, or something like The Crown of the Inward Eye, or something else.

If you're using a trigger wand, Ass Mark + Hydrosphere is plenty. I'd use the extra link for Power Charge on Crit, or even Sigil of Power (low-level).

Herald of Ice is just a nice small boost to clear, it's not a must at any point. I don't even use it myself. You do need a small amount of non-lightning to shock, but like you said, there's no need for that at all with your chest.

im in a bit of a damage rut. can someone help me on what i need to push a million at least? im also just a tab bit more squishy than i would like, but i think that is because i dont have uber lab done.

I have the same problem, no clue on how to reach the 1 mil or 2 mil mark.
Are some boxes i forgot to check.
Even if i disable the stats from your pob that i dont have on gear like extra dmg as chaos etc. your pob still stays above 2 mil. while mine only shows 500k.

Having problems on uber elder - I can get to him fine, but just cannot out-DPS the fight in my admittedly pretty decent gear. The biggest issue I have is that my life pots cannot sustain against the constant damage, especially once the ground effects start ramping up.

I am pretty sure I need another source of life sustain other than the meager leech on glove implicit. I have been playing around with Vitality but without substantial investment I can't really get above 500 life per second regenerated. I have the ability to reserve 210% of my mana and I an running Purity of Ice / Zealotry / Aspect of the Spider / HoI / HoT / Determination during the fight.

The other option I have is to try a slightly more glass cannon setup - maybe try getting a +2 gems chest and running Wrath, for instance. I have Uber Elder kills on several other builds, but I did take a long time off the game and this is my first league back. I have beat Shaper / Elder / Sirus and the new endgame bosses. Have never fought the Maven but I expect to maybe not be able to beat her given the Uber Elder difficulties.

if anyone has suggestions on this fight, I'd love to hear them. My character is GodOfRabbits.

To be fair, Uber Elder is a purely mechanical fight, so it's more about knowing what it is and having enough DPS. Unless maybe you're letting the Maven watch for no reason?

There's a lot of changes you've made to the build that overall drastically lower your DPS, that can be an issue. EB, for example, and rares with not as much DPS as you should have. Expensive gear, some of it, but not quite what you'd want for this?

I am running Determination, generally have 20K armor (though I turn off Defiance Banner when I run a Purity). EB shouldn't impact my DPS, it impacts my EHP if anything - I'm just using my ES as mana instead of extra HP (which I've confirmed in PoB). Aspect of the Spider is a very optional aura that I can situationally turn on and off - I have 210% of my mana to use, so I can run 5-6 auras without issue. I am probably dropping HoT, but for Tempest Shield rather than a damage aura.

I've imported your build into PoB and know it pretty well. You have maybe 10%-15% more damage than I do with similar buffs up, and I could make that up by swapping Atziri's Promise for a diamond flask (also Arcane Surge doesn't show as a buff for me because I get it from my Watcher's Eye).

Realistically, I think my options for much better DPS are:

- Run Wrath instead of Tempest Shield + Spiders
- Get better rings, though there is a ceiling here and it means tradeoffs like losing life/charges
- Small damage roll missing on my belt, better jewels, higher tier implicits
- +2 gems wand (mirror-tier)

RE Uber Elder - probably going to try next time with Wrath. I just wish there was some sustain layer I could get that would mitigate my need for life pots (I take Soul of Ryslatha for flask sustain as well). There might be better flask rolls to help the sustain in there as well - something to tinker with. I am definitely going to also spend more time dealing with the adds; they really messed up the arena. I did take several leagues off recently, though I have many Uber Elder kills under my belt overall.

If there's something I'm missing here, I'd be happy to hear it.
