Yes, but I moved on from the build before I could afford those pieces. xD

I, in particular, want to see how Legacy's do as a clear boost as well.

Pffft they're 2ex and 4c respectively c'mon now.

Both are quite a large damage boost (makes ~33% more damage for my build with both) but it also means you're very very restricted on remaining slots. You're potentially using: Ashes of the Stars, Hands of the High Templar, Aegis Aurora, Incandescent Heart, Polaric Devastation, and Legacy of Fury. Plus Thread of Hope, Watcher's Eye, and your cluster jewels taking up the passive tree jewel slots. Means you need to get all of your remaining resists and enough dexterity with just one ring, your belt, an Abyssal jewel + one or two jewels on the passive tree (let's be honest, no one is going to use their weapon slot for those).

You could definitely make it work, but it may be a pain in the ass to shuffle the gear slots around if you're already invested in a different setup. I'd have to give Legacy of the Fury a try to see how "nearby" they are re: map clear speed. Hard to say with GGG's liberal use of the term.

Those boots were 2-3ex when I changed builds on like, day 3 of the league. Just saying.

But yeah, so many uniques start to catch up with you and getting resists.

There is also also a world where you put the boots on an Animated Guardian with the alt quality for extra life. xD
For clear profane + flammability on hit ring would be a solution I think?

Yep.
Do y'all think it's worth annointing Whispers of Doom or crafting an extra curse chest to use Temp Chains gloves? I bought a pair of +AoE/+Proj gems in a hurry and didn't notice that mod on the gloves and now I'm wondering if I should re-sell those and buy a new pair or fix the curse situation. Having a hard time weighing that versus a Call of Steel or Prismatic Skin annoint and don't wanna waste the Golden Oils before making a final decision
Temporal chains is good for defence, so it depends on whether you feel you need more tankiness or more dps.

If this were your super late game, 3 mirror gear choice, then yes, you switch the gloves. But you can likely make a more economical decision that overall improves your character.

One option that stands out to me is to switch to a DPS wand and get explosion on the chest, then keep the gloves.

The main issue is that it brings quickly the build in the 200ex range...
Hi, i just had a few lucky drop an decided to reroll into a DD ingite build, and i'm a newborn with this skill so i have quite a few question to ask ^^

-do you think a crest of desire with lab enchant is any good ? is it better for bossing & worse for clearing ( because no gmp ) ?

also what about cremator in cluster jewels, to ensure we proc our unhearth corpse while mapping, is it a good idea ?

For maping, is remplacing the defiance banner for divergent Herald of ash overkill ?

if you could enlighten me about how ingite prolif & overkill dmg from HoA interact that would be nice of you :3

The double damage mod does nothing for us because the big Ignites come from the DD explosions, not the damage of Unearth. The gem levels and quality are both very nice, but then you also only fire one corpse per shot, meaning VDD can take a lot longer to get a good pool of fodder for. To be honest I'm not sure if the double damage would make the corpse explosion actually do double damage if you chose to put DD in there instead of Unearth, but even if it did it's not going to come close to what you get from the more damage modifiers + utility of 5 support gems.

Cremator would be a negligible difference in mapping. Honestly when it comes to clearing packs, you probably only need to pop one or at most two DDs and Ignite Proliferation will take care of the rest. If you're using Obliteration that makes it even less of an issue. The +%Fire is nice, but the unique effect is probably not worth mentioning.

I'd say it's overkill. Plus you're running super low on unreserved mana with that, unless you also fit in an Enlighten + use the mastery for better reservation. Divergent Herald of Ash ends up being ~3% more damage in my case, and again, in my experience Ignite Proliferation alone does the job just fine. If you find clear lacking it's probably better to go for either: Obliteration wand, Berek's Respite ring, or Fan the Flames notable.

Maybe someone else can answer that last one. POE's mechanics get really weird when you start layering them. From the wiki "All fire DoT effects are burning damage, but not all of them are ignite", which makes me think that the overkill burn isn't going to scale with our ignites / be proliferated? Again, mechanics are weird and I don't fully understand this one to be honest. I think the take home here is that it probably isn't worth it when compared to just swapping in an Obliteration and calling it a day.

Q: Does this expensive thing work?
A: Yes
Q: Doesn't that make it expensive?
A: Yes

Edit: though the rest of the build does not cost 150ex without going all the way to the endgame min/max stuff like +5 HotHT.
