Technical Support (Path of Exile 1) - Game not launching. - Forum

So the game is starting up and then when I go to select my character nothing works. I can't select any of my characters or do anything it's like the game is froze on the main menu. June 27th 2025. Had same problems for some days. Usually game started at 2nd attempt so it wasnt as bothersome at first. Then it took several re-starts and now it doesnt work even after 3 re-starts... Tried removing the whole poe-folder from the My Documents folder and so far (1 attempt) that has been a succesful solution.
