[3.21] Cold Conversion Summoner | Build guides for all budgets | (Ghazzy Zoomancer)
" Oh, ok, didn't see it on your shield...nice...and yes, probably it is your Blight setup. Fingers crossed, that you get a mageblood...it's still extreme expensive... :-D Last question, what do you think is the first, I should work on (see my character). Get a +3 Minion Helmet, a +2 Wand or switch to Ashes of the stars combined with getting Enduring Cry and update my skilltree? I'm building The Hungery Loop parallel...and if it's done, I'll Or should I focus on getting alternative quality gems? But I think, before I'll do that, I should get a +3 helmet and switch golems spectres and zombies to it... Current Budget is ~ 6-7 Ex |

" Yeah, farmed ~200 ex this weekend so shouldn't be too far off. However, I'm actually experimenting with a new belt right now. I'm testing running the Offering Belt and tripple offerings in my trigger wand. Since we're running so much increased duration in the tree we can have permanent uptime on them all. The downside is that I lose a crapton of resistances and I'm not resistance capped. However, I solve this with Divergent Spirit Offering that grants 80% all resistance to our minions with Ashes of the Stars. Since I'm running Mistress of Sacrifice I get 50% of it so 40% all res which caps out my resistances. The downside however, is that we have to keep 100% uptime on our offerings which requires Desecrate. This is not a problem when mapping since there's corpses laying around everywhere. But you definitely gotta get used to casting desecrate during bosses et.c. to keep the offerings up. And if it falls of you get reduced to 40% resistances in alot of cases and get oneshot :D What's the benefit of running this then? We get Chaos res, minions get 30% phys damage as extra chaos which is ~15% more dps and another layer of Defense with block. I'm running Rumis + Divergent Boneoffering with Glancing Blows for block cap. So far it has been super smooth and you feel way tankier. The hard part is balancing the sockets so I've sacced Enduring Cry and Assassin's Mark for now to make room for the extra Offerings. I definitely want to get Assassin's Mark back though. Might have to get rid of Increased Duration support on my Molten Shell but I don't like that idea too much. Your character is hidden so I can't see what you're using. By the sounds of it, I would probably try and get a Ashes of the Stars first and try to play around with it. It's cheap so you can just try it out. For big upgrades I would probably go for helm first (Assuming you're running a +1 wand with trigger). If you're running something like a Clayshaper, get a +2 wand before helm. |

Oh, sorry, character should be visible now...
Really interesting experiment with the belt, sounds really great! I'm exited what the final result of it will be... :-) Dumb question to the trigger: What spell with a 8 sec cooldown is the trigger of the wand? Somehow I never understood that... :-( |

In the process of respecting to this build after finding chaos AW abit clunky. Rolled the above jewel earlier was curious if this would be superior to the 8 passive alternative or if I'm better off selling. Havnt got access to pob for now unfortunately. " That's an amazing jewel and is definitely superior than an 8-passive one. |

" That's a very strong jewel and definitely useable. You'll be spending 5 extra skillpoints to equip it though but those skillpoints can be removed from other parts of the tree. Unfortunate that you don't have Vicious Bite on there instead of cold resistance but you can't have everything :) |

" Looking at your profile right now I'd definitely go for a wand upgrade if I was you. If you don't have alot of money available, you can go for a +1 wand with ~50% minion damage and trigger. Should cost lik ex 1 and will be sufficient for very long. I would also look into upgrading some of the cheaper alt quality and awakened gems. You should definitely get Divergent Flesh Offering which adds 25% attack speed to it(15% from ashes of the star). You also want Awakened Melee Physical damage and Awakened minion dmg if possible. If I were you, I would buy the awakened gems at level 3 so they go to level 5 in your chest and you instantly get the bonus. What the trigger does is make your wand autocast whatever you've socketed into it and makes it instant removing all cast animations. However, it adds a 8 sec cooldown to the skill. So if you have Flesh Offering in the wand, it'll autocast Flesh Offering without any cast animation and put it on a 8 sec cooldown. 8 seconds later, it'll recast flesh offering again. All spells in a trigger wand are on a seperate cooldown timer so you can run 3 spells at the sametime in a trigger wand and they will autocast with their own seperate 8 second cooldown. THe trick to make the trigger wand valuable is to make it trigger skills that have a 8 second duration or more. In my current setup I run 3 offerings and they have a duration of ~12 seconds so my wand will keep a 100% uptime on them. |

" This does change only little. Strongboxes still appear in game, just less frequent and there are other sources for DD ingame. I think only way is paying attention. What chestpiece did your AG have ? |
![]() |
" It's true, but strongboxes are usually much less frequent. If you specc fully into trongboxes you will have dozens of them every map and then there's a much bigger chance that something bad happens. Just talked to someone who lost his AG the same way yesterday. Though for him, the strongbox cast detonate dead on an Rogue Metamorph in the middle of his map instead. These type of extremestrongbox mods become much more dangerous and abundant because all strongboxes are rare and corrupted. If you play without strongboxes, they're usually just white or maybe blue and even if there's a DD mod it seems like they don't do as much damage as the multimodded rare ones but could be wrong on that. Last time I lost my AG was in 3.14 Ultimatium to a Detonate dead from the Mausoleum boss tolman. He blew up the corpses in a 10 man maven boss invitation which oneshot my AG too. My AG was using an Awakened Orb +1 curse and T1 explodey chest. The T1 explodey chest base costs 3.5 ex. |

" Done some testing for ~10 maps now and I like this setup alot. I'm now halfway to 98 and haven't died since I started wearing the belt and I'm running very juiced content. Prior to this setup I was hardstuck at 2 bars dying several times per map :) The extra defensive layer with block cap really helps against oneshots when Molten Shell is on cooldown. I recorded some photage of the gameplay here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DfsTiFXd3uk&ab_channel=HenrikSwanstr%C3%B6m |
