Development Manifesto: Harvest Crafting

Will non-X to X still work on an influenced item?
Yes! When finally you were making the end game approachable for casual players you take it away! Why invest thousands of hours into development of end game that only 1% of the players can do? This is a poor change. Makes the game less accessible.
What kinda shit is this?

I can't find even find a Grove to begin with, and you want to nerf it to the ground? (no pun intended)

Cool.

This hurts the average player more than it hurts GG insane gear crafters.

I think you were too hasty in adding Harvest to core, just like you were too hasty in adding Heist to core. You could've let Harvest sit on the back burner for a few leagues, really weighed the goods and the bad, and made a crafting overhaul. You could've taken the bench crafts, veiled crafts, and harvest crafts and mashed them all together. Want to annul a specific mod? 10x Annulment for the craft, and suddenly the Annulment orbs have value in trade league again. Want to Exalt slam a specific mod? 3x Exalted Orbs for the craft, and suddenly Exalts are being consumed to craft.

Instead you lightly changed Harvest, re-released it and re-confirmed you don't like the strength of deterministic crafting. And now we're here where Harvest is being completely and utterly gutted to the point it really ought to just be removed.

I'm absolutely disappointed with how you're handling integration of previous leagues into the core content.

Big R.I.P
"
This sentiment was summed up by a member of our design team who recently said "We don't want to take away the feeling of closing your eyes and Exalting an item, scared to see whether you ruined it or not."

Why?
At least D2 remaster comes out soon. Bye casino ex/anul slam crafting bullshit
nice :)
Well, I think all high-end crafters will agree that harvest crafting is just too powerful and the "nerf" given to integrate it to the core game was too low.

GGG had their chance. Standard for example is now ruined.

I think the harvest idea is a very good implementation, what makes people make insane crafts is the ability to trade them (mostly via discord). You can make insane profit and insane items if you know what you are doing, but only if you spam crafts by purchasing them from other people, because good crafts are rare enough. Just make harvest crafts not tradable somehow, people will be forced to use them instead of selling.
