Diablo II: Resurrected

Skipped 3.16 in order to play D2R. Played in the past as well -- a lot (before expansion >> LoD). Graphics looks great, but i got bored by the fact that there is no end content: you end up by doing the same runs over and over (kill Mephisto, Diablo or Baal). Not for me, looking forward to 3.17 (can't wait :P).
D2R just passed 5 million copies sold? Damn.

Okay these new opt-in Terror Zones have random invasions of higher level monsters ,in specific campaign zones, to speed up the leveling process a little. I mean it's okay, it's just a bunch of additional monsters and does not change the base game too much.
Masterpiece of 3.16 lore
"A mysterious figure appears out of nowhere, trying to escape from something you can't see. She hands you a rusty-looking device called the Blood Crucible and urges you to implant it into your body."

Only usable with Ethanol Flasks

It also changes the TC of the monsters, so you can do MF runs for lvl gated unique and set items in a variety of places compared to the static zones most people run.

It's a nice addition. Nothing insane or dramatic, but subtle. Its still core D2 which is important imo.

I wish GGG would show the same respect for PoE rather than the wildly changing balance and game experience we get.

Can't believe Blizzard stole everything from POE and put into D2R

D2R looks like a clone of POE, Blizzard could have at least hired people to come up with an original idea rather than ripping off POE.

On the plus side somehow the character animations in D2R looks way better than POE
Look how Awesome my MTX Marauder RF looks

Hey I'm one of those 5 million.
I played it a couple times, it felt like shite to play.
I prefer to remember the game as a good memory.

I'm one of the 5 million as well (5 million seems to be an accurate number still after a year). It was good for a play through and walk down memory lane, so I'm not angry at buying it.

The graphics were notably better, but the gameplay is the same and feels dated now unfortunately. Great game. It was a great franchise. I was grateful for one last go with Diablo though before completely moving on from the whole series.
