[3.19] Ice Dancing Queen - Icestorm/Cyclone/CI - Viable For Everything

How does this build compare, in 3.18, to the Scion version?

I have all the stuff now, Clarity, Discipline, Purity, Curse Aura and Aspect. I have both Sovereignty and Charisma and Mana reservation Efficiency from Curse Mastery wheel. And lvl1 Awakened Blasphemy. Total of 83.13% reserved plus flat 167 from Clarity leaving me with 200 unreserved mana.

Could get away without Charisma wheel if I got lvl4 Enlighten. lvl3 would leave me with -2 free mana. Better even if I could get one of the mana reservation enchants form the lab. Better mana reservation corruption on jewels is not an option to me right now.

You shouldn't need Enlighten lv 4, lv 3 should be enough. Check if any of your auras are accidentally supported by something that increases their mana reservation. Like, Aspect in an item that has support gems in it.

It has higher damage and clear speed, but is less safe and harder on mana.

Try with removing Ghost Reaver note, that might help in general (WE is somewhat fixing the leech issues at this point i believe).

When to take Ghost Reaver is a matter of how you play the league. It makes things like Lab quite annoying. I took it after the Uber Lab, since I never intend to do labs again.

In regular mapping, as long as you don't stand on degen ground, you won't have any problems with Ghost Reaver. It's amazing for survivability in fights.

The leveling trees don't have it early. You take Light Eater before switching to CI. And it's still there at lv 70. But somewhere on the way to lv 90 you drop Light Eater and take Ghost Reaver.
3.18 Early league update

- Adjusted the leveling PoB to keep Deep Thoughts and add Mana Mastery with 10% Damage Taken Recouped as Mana. It solves a lot of early mana sustain issues. When you are tanking a boss, your CWDT keeps proccing and keeping you safe. But it eats a lot of mana and you may start running out of mana for Icestorm. Don't drop Deep Thoughts, add the mana recoup to it. It can be dropped later on, when your gear becomes much better. But at lv 92 with 2k Int I find this very useful.

I'm semi-casual in this league. No exalts yet. Just plugging along. Got Astramentis, The Stampede, a couple of oils to anoints them, a cheap 15% Int belt and the cheapest clusters. 2k Int, 6.8k ES. No problems at all.

No. No extra supports.

Did some math. lvl3 is enough with lvl5 Awakened Blasphemy. I was just looking PoB calculations, and they had it with current lvl1 Blasphemy.

Great show case, do you have any tips in mind for bosses with phases that slowly chunk our ES pool? Do you reckon we should ditch Ghost Reaver before doing them?
Also, do you reckon its smart to ditch Increased duration in the CWDT setup and use the gem slot for Frost Shield?

Thanks!

Such as? I can think of the Reef boss that has a long invulnerability phase. But you just dodge the lightning circles. I found no need to drop Ghost Reaver in 3.16 or this league yet.

Leech is not instant. It keeps healing you for a few more seconds after you stop hitting the enemy. You can see it at the end of the video above.

No. The more IC stays on the better. With the perfect setup (Anomalous CWDT and IC) you can have it proc every 2 sec and last 1.5 sec. That's a lot of damage mitigation. Much more than Frost Shield.
Attempted Uber Sirus with 9.6k ES and 2.4k int, he is buffed quite dramatically. I found face tanking the die beam impossible, for the maze part frost blink doesn't cut it and we have to use flame dash to get out in time.

In the last phase, we suffer greatly from the persistent degen ground that gets added every few seconds and the spinning beams give a crazy amount of damage taken stacks now.
With the lack of any form of regen making it very very hard to survive while dodging Sirus's other abilities.

I believe our best bet is to actually stand in one place and channel on Sirus, I will see at what ES it is possible to tank the beams if at all.
Will see how it is once I have more damage and ES but I suspect this fight will be a difficult one either way.

Found my problem. Totally thought Foresight only as a bridge from one side of the tree to the other. Forgot it gives access to ES Mastery and the increased mana reservation to Discipline.

So didn't need to run lab 30+ times, but plenty of free mana now.
