Looks like the new Uber bosses are going to be super tough without zealots oath.
I'd say we should aim to get the es on hit watchers eye asap and then try and get see how well can tank without Ghost Reaver perhaps?

Later we can ditch the stun avoidance cluster and get vile bastion with the forbidden jewels, but that will be expensive.

What do you do for survivability? I've noticed we use CI with very little ES nodes. I'm level 58 in Act 8 and there are times when I get one shot and I'm struggling to clear Cruel Lab. I'm sitting on 1501 ES with Discipline active.

Is this just a gear issue or is this the way it is? I've never played a build that uses CI before this one.

In previous leagues, we'd not care about trash mobs or magic or rares. That's no longer true. You'll have to pay attention.

Metamorph bosses, for example, are *dangerous.*

What this does mean is that things will get better as our dps and ES gets higher. We have fewer deaths to look forward to.

Stacking int. You get both ES and damage from int, so it is better to get int than es nodes.

Your characters are hidden, so can't see gear, but try to get Icetomb and Doedre's Scorn for leveling.

That said, with rares having archnemesis mods, getting randomly oneshot is not that uncommon, especially with the league mechanic.

Oops, characters shouldn't be hidden anymore. I don't use the forums much, so I didn't know that was a thing.

I went ahead and crafted +Maximum ES on a couple of items which gave me like an extra 300 ES. I seem to be doing alright now, but one-shots by bosses are still scary.

PSA: 10% to int synthesized belts are a chaos or two, and deafening essences of spite a chaos or two also. You can use blessed orbs to reroll that to 12% and with some luck with the spite, get an excellent belt for 10c or so. (I just needed an open suffix to do a resist, so this is perfect for me.)

Just buy 13-15% they are 10c.

Saving up for a hunter's orb. And the 13% ones are 30c, by the way.

I'm not having a great time on witch atm, the tankyness is really missing since we don't have the life regen on top of the leech..
I'm saying this with 8k ES and an ES gained on hit watchers eye.

Last league on scion my ES would shoot up in an instant and I could face tank everything that didnt one shot me, now its easier to get overwhelmed and die with just leech and es on hit.

Last league I did boss kill service with the scion, I guess this league its not likely to happen unless I go for scion as well

Phased bosses such as Eater of Worlds and Searing Exarch are really a pain in the ass when you take damage and have no way to heal.

I have no idea what happend, but i die a lot of having es shield an no life. Is that a mod from a rare or blue mob ?
