SSF is happy times no lie.

So glad a buddy convinced me to try it, best decision I've made in PoE.

The feeling you get when you find the item you need is so much better than saving up money and buying it.

So u manually 6L your chest piece every league?? Rares aren't too bad since u can get the item quality over 40%.I 6L a couple items at 48% this league and surprised how little fusings it cost

There are a variety of ways to farm for 6L.

One of things about playing SSF is that you can't guarantee you'll have access to every single item.

So don't plan to play a build that requires a specific unique body armor, unless there's a way to farm for that armor, AND you can live with it being 5L (or it is guaranteed 6L).

For rares, you can farm Div cards (like Dapper Prodigy), beasts for the 6L rare beast, or even Vaal Side areas for corrupted 6L (you can still change colors if you have some Vaal orbs using the bench).

Lol yah I feel like a dummy now since I spent so many fusings the last 2 leagues trying to 6L unique with a measly 20% quality. So much easier using resonators for increasing quality and crafting more on the bench and then 6L a rare myself.

Luckily my Cyclone Zerker this League had no required unique and all rares and crafted all but 2 items myself this League. Hit lvl 93 and hoping to get to 95 before League ends.

Also this league was an ultimate SSF league. Some of the crafting nerfs last few updates hurt SSF players.

Then again on console u kind of have to SSF for rare items lol

@anyone who thinks the market and console is completely okay the way it is. Your either ignorant or severely deprived of good rpg markets making you a casual. Ie. Opinion doesn't matter, you'll quit in the long run.

I have played this game since Beta on my old PC up to the end of breach league then hopped on console around a year ago. That being said, I also played D2, WoW and many many other games with better functioning markets. The console versions almost seems to be deliberately bad coding with the way things load causing server ping issues among all sorts of other issue with the pure background functionality alone. Bet never fear, the rocket scientist is here to tell you 2, AND I MEAN TWO, things that will 100% fix the front end trading experience for consoles.

1. When I put a filter in. Instead of graying out anything I'm not selecting how about just getting rid of them. Hmmmmm not to difficult, less than 100 lines of code.

2. This one is even optional. Just to show us that actually care to grow your player base. Allow sorting. If by nothing else then sort by price alone would enhance even the longevity for even the scummiest fixers. This would take us from "Phony Capitalism" to "Capitalism" which means people compete for lowest prices at higher quantities with better quality, consistently surging the market. Wanna know something crazy, this would take less coding than the first.

So before you go saying there is nothing to complain about and the people complaining about a terribly implemented system by all standards are the problem you should really think about yourself and the illogical ignorance your presenting. I do just fine every league I play, I do a lot of less then morally high trading for profit. And that's fine I would still be richer and better off if GGG acknowledges and addresses the horrendous code they have going on the console trade boards. Kids, you should complain about issues. Don't sit quiet while Timmy takes your lunch money.

Aggressivity and arrogance aside, you're right, those 2 fixes would make the market much better.
I'd get rid of anonimity as well.

For what concern the difficulties of implementing those things, I have no clue.
Man, I don't know...
A fucked up trade economy or the fact you have better chances of crashing in an Uber Lab than you are finding one of the Six to get you there...

Fuck this port. Seriously. Look at the trade boards, this game is on life support. Nobody wants to waste 4 Offerings just to TRY to get through a Lab with out crashing.

Seriously, I am like level 89 and STILL haven't finished that part of my build because EVERY FUCKING TIME on the second encounter, my shit crashes.

If this was an actual paid game, I would demand Sony for my money back.
This is the very reason I REFUSE to buy any more QoL tabs because I might as well just wipe my ass with the money, at least I KNOW that fucking works.
For the "LAG" issue. This cannot, and will not ever be perfect on console. However there are a few things you can do to release some of the server to client tension causing the lag. One of the major issues causing lag is that you are always playing off the client meaning you don't experience the server lag in real time which causes overloads and crashes when trying to sync. You can lowers the amount of data needed to sync effectively by 1. Removing unnecessary sounds, speeding the front end sync up a little. 2. Cosmetics are nice. Don't use the crazy flashy ones on console. Your actually better off using the cosmetic that gets rid off effects. 3. Realize your limits an build around them. If you love playing glass cannons, like me, then do it. But playing a more balanced character might save you in those lag spike you would usually be guaranteed to die in.

Side note, Arrogance comes from certainty. I write a lot of code, some for video games and I've seen many of market codes. This is not a hard fix, and you may be surprised to find out but if you spam the trade board you will cause server desync and crash yourself, client side. Having a more functional trade board will take down the server stress and lower some of the lag issues on console as well. They pull a few pages at time separately through a call function of sorts causing every few pages to put abnormal stress on the realm not to mention when there's 100+ people trading all at the same time. However after all that being said, It is unlikely GGG will do anything about it soon and I seriously doubt they will get rid on anonymity. These are D2 and pre players. They like the realism that comes with the possibility of being scammed. Hence why you will almost NEVER see a negative comment on someones store/services. GGG deletes negative comments allowing scammers to maintain a positive appearance. Also I beleive they like the Choas that is the console market. It makes it super easy to scam, get scammed, and never get called out for it.

Cmon dude your post was really interesting, don't fall on this kids meme: GGG protect the scammers!

1) being scammed on ps4 means you really, really intended to be scammed. I mean you have to accept, then you have to confirm pressing 3 buttons.. Seriously?
2) I would love to get rid of anonimity, but not to avoid being scammed (never happened and never will).
I would love to get rid of anonimity just to clean up a bit of toxicity that comes with anonimity itself.
All those kids insulting on the tradeboard, sending you ridiculous offers, spamming you, Trying to price fix and so on, will most likely stop doing all those things if they have to put their "face" on them. And if they don't, bam you know the name and can put them in your ignore list.

Ps
Hsrvest was almost unplayable at the beginning (now is slightly better..) so I was forced to follow this kind of magic trick to shut down the sounds effect in order to try to blues screen and lag less and it actually worked.
However this game has a really good soundtrack and it's kind of sad to play without it.

To that point I've never been scammed in POE either. However I see the vast possibilities and because of that I don't fall into these however it doesn't mean that a Veteran gamer like myself couldn't easily take advantage of a new players. And although it is a meme it has reigned in since the game came out. Because of the way the economy works in all technicality being ripped of isn't considered a scam to GGG.

With the sound. Sad but true. Hopefully they have a better decompression system with POE2.

I've never complaint about the state of the game for the very simple reason that no one is forcing me to play or to spend money on it.
With that being said.. Ps5 is a few months away, if the game will run on Ps5 like it does on Ps4 with these huge lag spikes and frequents crashes I will be very disappointed and re-consider keep playing the game itself.
I wouldn't play Poe on Pc for several reasons (too many people makes the game and the market too easy, too many bots devalue everything and many other reasons) so I want to keep playing the game on console but if I could accept the poor game state on a 8yrs old console I won't accept it on a new generation console
