It is definitely still valid, especially since with Leadership's Price, bosses are perma-sapped for their very short lifespan anyway. It can be used to drop a few more million DPS on a boss, as well as quickly gain power charges and/or leech/"drain tank".

Also why do you use leapslam. my attack speed is not high enough to move around fast with it and i use an Anomalous flamedash for extra distance. Or do you use leapslam for the stun effect on packs?

This build looks awesome. Can't wait to try it out! I've been buying the gear little by little for the last couple days so hopefully I'll have everything needed soon to get this going.

I have couple questions that my sound very noobish - haha I'm a beginner at this game. Hopefully these questions can help other beginners as well.


On the 10EX version here - https://pastebin.com/NxPDqAjS you use Inpulsa's chest. Do we need to use Inpulsa's chest? I'm kind of confused since we are using the Leadership Price ammy which states you can't shock but the Inpulsa takes advantage of Shocked abilities. Maybe there is other mechanics in the build that I am not aware of that makes the chest still useful? Could I use a rare chest with better life and resist? Again I'm a total noob so please take it as me trying to learn the game :)

My next question is, do you have some sort of guide on how to actually play the build? I am very unfamiliar with how to brand, recall, or desecrate to make this work. Like what is the skill order I need to execute or button presses I need to do to make this work?

Lastly, I bought the expensive items and now I am 20 STR over INT :( is there a way to change those values through crafting or do I just have to buy some jewels and add 20 INT back into my character?

Heya! 1) Inpulsa generally ups your clear a lot, you eithe run that or a cheap explode chest with open prefix (they are literally like, 5-10c) and craft 10% of Maximum Energy Shield on it for a super tanky chest. You don't need a 6L so this always gives you cheap chest opetions. Eventually you will want a Frenzy + Explode Chest which are usually 5-10ex for good ones.

You can't Shock yourself, but the idea is that Skitterbots help your clear a LOT but shocking packs for you which you then blow up. Some people runw ithout explode chest but it's honestly just slower than full speed aggro.

On the Str vs Int - use Nodes to help fix this. For example, the area right above the Witch tree has 10/25/10 Str + Dex which helps a lot with Dex requirements anyway. If you have too much str, either drop str nodes or pick up 20 int on the tree (this should be plentiful).

As for the last 1 - this is why Heavy Belts are recommended. They have a 25-35 Implicit which allows you to tweak the single digits easily with Blessed Orbs (way cheaper than divining.)

Finally, I've been back at work so the tutorial vid is slow, but as a guide, always practice with 2 brands first, drop Desecrate then VD brand and don't do anything till they start ticking. ON BOSSES, DO NOT USE 4 BRANDS IF YOU ARE A BEGINNER. People are literally panicking and hitting Brands randomly, then getting 2 of the similar brand on the boss which does nothing at all.

The tutorial video will cover this very thoroughly, but until then, just run with 2 Brands till you get the hang of it.

There’s a horror and hypothermia shaper/elder bone helmet on trade for 5 ex right now. You could reforge keeping suffixes until conc effect. It’s about 1/5 from some people’s testing.

So the general flow is: cast both arcanists brand near enemy, then spam brand recall to trigger the brand's effects, and use cyclone to keep buffs up right? Do we actually keep the spectres w/ us in maps or are they just there to add to the pool of desecrate bombs?

I'm seeing a tendency to be able to just eat a TON of hits then randomly explode and die in t16 maps. Trying to get a feel for the tempo of having to refresh brands and such.

That's my build so far, would anyone be able to give me pointers/suggestions on things to tweak? I'm doing well on maps but bossing is an absolute nightmare and I'm not sure what's wrong.
