Even though putting RF on 3L makes sense(which you'll lose inc duration on Vaal RF and MS not to mention second wind but thats not significant) you either lose fortify(which makes no sense on a build like this) because it'll be cancer to use shield charge without Faster Attack, or you'll lose another gem slot by putting in faster attacks whichs what I've been talking about this entire time.

And the prices you are talking about Explode+Curse and Frostbite ring is so absurd. I'm not looking for triple resist t1 life explode+curse chest, or perfect frostbite ring.On a build where you only use 2 uniques you dont need a perfect body armour. You can craft the body armor AND buy a proper ring for probably less then what woke CoH worth.

The build is pretty much immortal and has enough DPS to kill anything deathless so I'm not looking for perfect items to sink currency or min-max. I'm just looking for upgrades to what I have right now which is pretty mediocre and I simply dont find losing bunch of QoL and utilities just to put another curse on enemies and to get what? Frenzy on hit on instead of additional curse on body armor, maybe mana recovery?

I think we are sort of thinking about this differently...

I would never consider using Blood Rage in this build. Frenzy charges on death doesn't help us at all during boss fights and our clear speed is already crazy without it during maps. I would sooner hit up Frenzy on hit on the chest so we have them up during bosses where we need the extra dps and ramp up speed. We really don't need the leech at all, with flasks up at all times and leech from Doryani's Lesson

I am also the type that would only use 1 movement skill, so for this with a shield I would use fortify / faster attacks / shield charge. I would drop flame dash and second wind.

I think increased duration is nice, but unnecessary in the long run. MS on left mouse click has it up always, and you can pop VMS against a boss and by the time it expires boss is probably dead.

This build uses 2 uniques which have no resists, plus a weapon that has no resists, plus if you use Ahns it has no resists. Your amulet really wants to hit the +1/+1 or at least have the cold penetration mod too which limits the resists/life you can get there. Belts have some really good flask and elemental damage mods which can limit resist rolls there. This leaves little room to not strive for t1/t2 resists on basically all the rest of the gear unless you rely on Wise Oak which is an option. Most likely you would also be giving up hybrid life/mana rolls in favor of resistance capping.

I just think that, for me, the QoL comes from the body armour having beefier stats like +1 active skill gems, mana rate, physical damage taken as x, frenzy on hit, etc moreso than an extra curse.

My final setup for dual curse would be: weapon autocasts (throw blood rage in here since the curses are in the CoH setup), typical 4L vortex, 3L Shield charge, 4L w/ RF/Sigil/AoE/MS(unlinked), 4L CoH. Or if you can do without blood rage, throw molten shell into the weapon and put a juke skill in.

The only QoL I think I'm missing in this setup is that you need to manually cast Sigil

Which does absolutely nothing in terms of double curse and it would take years to level it up to 5. There is a reason why its 5 ex at level 1-2 and 20 Ex at level 5.

I'm sitting here with a body armor with crafted 15 resists and no life and a perfectly balanced resists at 77 incl. chaos, equal fire&lightning for Wise Oak reductions and physical mitigations. You have so much flexibility to not look for a perfect body armour.

As for the rest I'm not going to argue about it anymore because like you said we are thinking differently about many things.


Took down AL8! Wasn't deathless, but it was surprisingly clean (by my standards).

I still have a lot of potential progression as far as my gear is concerned (a proper anoint, Frenzies on ring/amulet), which I'm looking forward to.

Also, of the Alternate Quality gems, one with a very noticeable effect is Divergent Vortex. I didn't think the 20% cooldown reduction would be so significant, but it makes Indigon ramp up so much quicker. Definitely worth looking into, in my opinion.

Got lvl 97 recently



I decided to go with the Rare shield variant. This shield was thebest from like 3 shield I tried to make, not the best but does its job.

Got some new gloves and belt for more damage and defense. Looking to get a 21/20 but so far 3 lens and no luck on the corruption. Still need to get the alt gems but the build still destroys everything (besides reflect)

Hey, just started this as my second character of the league and enjoying a lot. Quick question, how do you handle flask usage? Just rainbow them 1-5 every time one runs out or do you micro them individually?
@aastr: if you have them ordered correctly, 1-5 works fine. For me, I need to make sure that Wise Oak is after my Hate flask and there is a tiny bit of lag time that Wise Oak keeps working after my Hate runs out but if I re-up before that its not a problem.

We don't really have any situational flasks so just keeping them all up all the time is best
How significant is the difference between unleash and awakened unleash support?
Anyone been able to farm simu 20waves with 5-6 loot bars?

im struggling at last 3 waves not getting enough bars.
