[3.21] Aegis Incinerate Elementalist - Tank with over 10mil Shaper DPS!

Btw "some" awakened gems drop from maven's crucible, which I am assuming to be accessible before you get a can void stone (which are locked behind maven, uber elder and the two new end game bosses), so hopefully the ones we need are among those and therefore cheaper. Maven herself drops all of them.

Another edit: forgot about the 900es we lose by dropping Cerberus. I think it has to stay. It's just too good to replace especially considering it only costs 2c.

I looked into replacing it before and it's just too good for this build. Not only the ES but the massive cast speed which is a huge contributor to this build's DPS. Maybe with this patch's buff to cast speed we an evaluate again, but with everything (ES, cast speed, leech) in a single package it's hard to replace.

This morning I was thinking if Aegis Aurora will be more popular. It's basically the only way you can do self cast. I even have it in my totem build because I just don't like dying :P

Yeah, I'm really surprised Aegis didn't get nerfed considering how powerful and popular it is.

If the shield does go up in price we could temporarily replace it with a shaper shield with 5% es gained on block. Nowhere near as good, but might be the best alternative while saving for the shield.

Shield will definitely be my second upgrade. Cerberus 1st just because of how cheap it is. Aegis after that for sure since it's the single largest defensive boost we have.

Chris in the interview said that the "powerful ones" would be restricted to Maven only. He did not list those but we don't use any of the common powerful ones, at least not since Hextouch got nerfed.

We were one of the few builds that used it for the longest time but once determination got the massive buff, it became much more popular.

I agree that it will continue to rise in popularity. Luckily it is not a rare unique drop so while the price should go up, it hopefully won't sky rocket. I am thinking 2.5 ex for a great roll instead of the normal 1ex if it gains popularity in 3.17.
I guess we also need to be concerned with inflation for the belt if more builds use self casting.
does anyone know the basics of how to craft a rare helmet for our build?

I know to look for Incin enchant when buying a base but I am unsure which base to look for on trade that would best fit our build.
Hi guys,
i'm pretty new in the build, and Templar class too.

I wanna try this style of playing, but in my head (maybe just for standard mode) i want to try to make RF viable in it.

So, what ascendancy u suggest me to pick? Inquisitor or Guardian?

Thanks!!

I would look for an armour/es base like a Praetor crown. Either get one that has warlord influence or use a warlord exalt on it to get the influence. Then you could use ~36c worth of fossils to get the "Nearby enemies have -9% to fire resistance mod"

It would cost more, but you could use two socket resonators for more options.
Add an Aberrant fossil along with the Scorched fossil to try and get a chaos resistance roll as well, dense to get more +/% armour and es rolls, pristine for life rolls, etc.

Hello! You came to the right place :) we have been spending the last few weeks working on a version of this build that will support RF in 3.17 (in league).

Here is the baseline POB we have been working on a build that supports RF using Inquisitor.
