[3.21] Aegis Incinerate Elementalist - Tank with over 10mil Shaper DPS!
anointed flesh is just a temporary solution because of corrupted blood immunity, but now that you mention, the jewel socket next to quick recovery would be more elegant. rf is still okay without that +1 max resist.

Level 97 tree without corrupted soul. I also made a new cluster without any stats on it to make it easier to figure out our stat requirements. If this tree is used, a total of 60 strength is needed between gear and jewels to match strength and intel. Can get up to 30 on Circle of Anguish and remaining on the rare gloves or ring. Whichever tree you go with I'd recommend adding up the additional strength gained from gloves, circle of anguish, and jewels and include that number as one of your notes so it's easy for everyone to see how much strength they need to get when buying gear. |

" I should have waited for you. I also came up with a level 97 tree but I like yours much better! :) I am going to import your tree into my POB since I have a bunch of extra notes there. I have a question on the config window. You are using 13% More Spell Damage and 39% Increased Mana Regen rate. You do not have Arcane Heroism allocated. Should these be 10 and 30 respectively? |

" I think a relatively cheap way for Corrupted Blood immunity is just to get it on Natural Affinity. We don't need to waste any points and it only costs about 1ex or less in league usually. Last edited by AndyLovesHisBge#5265 on Dec 30, 2021, 9:29:56 AM

" Glad you like it. :-) Good catch on the config! yes, should only be 10 and 30. |

ok here is the latest POB based on the fabulous input from stoudtlr and Brigetiol.
Changes include: *Corrupted Blood Immunity on Natural Affinity *New Level 97 tree that supports RF with out using Corrupted Soul *Fixed stats in customization window *Lowered Arrogance to level 20 Anomalous from level 21. Level 21 is VERY expensive and it provides very little *Expanded the notes section *Added an unlinked Flammability to the curse setup so that people can be aware to change if they want when mapping (also added this to the notes) If anyone sees any improvements or changes that can be made, please let me know https://pastebin.com/UUWGYWtE Last edited by AndyLovesHisBge#5265 on Dec 30, 2021, 10:09:56 AM

I just did some quick calculations and our AOE will not be as bad as I originally thought when compared to the Elementalist.
*With Elementalist, we pick up 60% increased AOE from the ascendency that we don't get with Inquisitor. *With the Inquisitor tree that we pathed, we pick up 40% increased AOE and 20% Increased Area damage (the Elementalist tree does not use these nodes) We will have a little less area coverage but a little more area damage with the Inquisitor. Given all the other benefits we appear to be picking up with the Inquisitor crit version (more armor, better ailment immunity, higher ele res caps, significantly better life and ES regen etc), things are looking better every day :) I believe that the lower health pool in Inquisitor will easily be offset by these other defensive improvements mentioned above. rock'n roll!

" I am so excited to try this in 3.17 but it looks like we all need to wait until some time in February as GGG is delaying the launch of 3.17. |
|
" We actually get 50% increased so only 10% shy of elementalist. :-) Looking at this more I actually think I would make this a Level 98 tree by changing the 2 point small cluster to a 3 point. With that change we only need level 3 enlighten instead of level 4 and also don't need the +1 corrupted gloves. That one change shaves 20+ exalts from the total price. Also makes it easier to gear since we can now throw divines at the gloves if needed to get the strength/intel balance. " I'm usually excited when they extend leagues. With 4 kids and working full time I don't get to play as much as I'd like so those extra couple weeks before starting all over again are a big help. This time I'm definitely disappointed though as I'm really looking forward to trying this version in 3.17. |
