Cold ANIMATE WEAPON Summoner | League-Start & Leveling Guide

Love the build but not a fan of the league. I deleted T5-T7 Conquerors in <2s, feels smooth to run maps with but I think I will be skipping most Delirium encounters until GGG comes out with a response.

Question for anyone into maps, how often do you use Bladefall? I'm experienced with minion builds but first time playing AW, it seems that they follow the minion rules of attacking things that you are attacking. However I am getting the impression based on comments that people are only casting Bladefall every now and then.

Since Bladefall triggers EE (and eventually a curse), directs minion aggro, and spawns blades to animate, I am considering hiding normal weapons (sometimes the clutter is a bit much) and just animating 1 of my lingering blades every few packs.
Short question to the Fortress Covenant jewel. The guide says we should position it southwest of the scion life wheel. That means we need to take 3 strength nodes and 1 for the jewel. Is it really worth to get that jewel, spending 4 passive points?

With how passive starved the build is, and with Cluster Jewels added, I don't think it is worth it anymore to spend 4 passives on this. It was even pretty questionable before that to be honest.

Thx buddy. Is there any information wich notables are best on cluster jewels? What happens if i buy a cluster jewel, put it in my passive tree, skill some points and later on i want to change that jewel? Do i have to take all the points out first or how does this work now? When i start on one of the larger jewel sockets and put a cluster jewel in wich has "1 added passive skill is a jewel socket" is that always a medium one or can that also be a large socket?

Yeah I imagine it would be fine. I like the pace of play with animating weapons that drop (also thematically, I get a kick out of it) but reducing clutter would be a plus.

I thought it might be good if gear-starved at the start of the league - in light of cluster jewels being easy to get and fairly cheap, I may edit it out of the guide.

Your characters appear to be set private, can't see them. Generally, life leech is the way to go for minion life sustain. If it's delirium, yeah they do just die a lot and have to be resummoned. My hope is that after eternal lab and +2 skills, weapons are more tanky.
Does the weapon type we use is important because I read that animate weapon take base damage from then weapon and add the bonus ?
