Whats in your opinion is best upgrade after helm, gloves or amulet?
Both provide a chunk of damage and defence.
Gloves is explode + chains, amulet allow to use flesh of stone (for now atleast) and raw damage. I can finally afford one item now, still can't decide :S

I would guess gloves, because then you can anoint the +1 curses passive, and get your 2nd Cold Iron Point which will also boost damage by a lot.
Accoring to PoB, not Corruption but Dirty Techniques is best DPS annointment.
Myself I have issues with survivability on bosses with a lot HP. When I lose life I just have 1 life flask and that's it. How can I get life?
Life regen doesn't seem possible with enough. Any other option? Can we leech life from bosses somehow or something?

I farmed Sirus AL8 last league too, but as an arc mine saboteur so I instant phased him the first 3 parts and got really close to instant phasing him the last phase. Means I didn't really deal with mechanics beside avoiding storm and running out of the maze once or twice in the final phase. I have a corrupted blood jewel and 50% chaos res, capped with atziri flask. My biggest problem was getting time to dps him/not actually doing any damage. I also failed miserably at dodging stuff but I realize that can be corrected. More worried about the lack of damage part.


Then kudos to you... i played an Arc Miner Saboteur too (at the start, CoC Assassin for endgame grinding), and i was just too damn stupid to play the mechanics or do enough dmg somehow to insta-phase him. That's why i leveled myself a Herald of Agony mana guardian, purely as boss killer (Kurgal in Delve and Sirus). Wasn't able to kill those two otherwise. The mana guardian facetanked Sirus, but it took him some time to kill him, so i got a pretty good look at the mechanics, at what to dodge and how to play him strategically. Helped a lot.

Considering dmg: have you tried crafting with the cluster jewels? They are pretty strong imo, i noticed a big push.


Not yet with the cluster jewels. I’ll probably explore it some this weekend but for now I’m just trying to get the build done based off the guide. Which for the most part it is, I zoom zoom t16s all the way to the boss but the bosses are a little riskier than I’d like. And as mentioned before, end game bosses destroy my face.
So i've noticed that when my life pool takes a hit, my BV stacks drop from 10 right down to 1. Is this normal? or preventable?
According to the ingame tooltip, BV only has 60% chance to poison (from ascendancy) but I have multiple other 10% chance to poison on hit nodes. Why aren't they showing up?
I ended up dropping most of my cluster jewels and just going down to 1 medium/small. I need survivability more than damage, getting one shot by bosses is no fun, so i dropped a bunch of points for more life. IDK if the large clusters are worth all the points to be honest.
I sold Sirus carries all throughout last league, A8 on literally SSF gear pre-nerf, so pretty experienced with him.

The problem with this build is it cannot do it on a budget, you need diadem for CWDT+desecrate or other ways to get life sustain during long boss fights. Buying Diadem now is just a poor investment because it usually drops pretty hard a week in when many people do their first Catarina (until then you're basically stuck with no sustain on hard bosses). Having two flasks was not enough since they changed the fight. The top guy who spams skills in Sirus fight is a lot more active and since we are melee Sirus has little to no window now to DPS him down. If you get any more life flasks you have no offensive ones to DPS him down which for this build needs a good ramp up time.

Of course the map clear is pretty crazy, but you will hit a brick wall while fighting Awakener A5+ or any T16 juiced bosses. You have to be mechanically skilled to do it on a starter. Plus it cannot kill Delirium spawned uniques in T16's, like at all... I am thinking they have ludicrous amounts of chaos resists. I cleared an entire orbed T16 map, had max plague bearer stacks + Vaal BV + all flasks, everything... and went to burst him. His HP didn't dip 1% after my burst.

thanks for writing this, it makes clear that my thoughts about chaos resist on those unique bosses was correct, just had some mobs at yellow map, which took me about 40sec to kill them with everything popped on.
