This is attempt 2. Not sure if I should keep this and build it up in terms of resists or sell it and try again.

You could try to slam another influence mod with harvest(use your own or buy from someone else), its a pretty good chance to hit %life, especially with chaos damage out of the way, but if youre low on currency not sure if its really worth it running the risk. GL

noobie question, if i have "Overwhelming Malice" on both of my large cluster jewels, will i gain %20 chance for that buff to trigger instead of %10?

Overwhelming Malice is %10 chance to gain Unholy might for 4 seconds on critical strike

I already have one with overwhelming malice.

I don't think, that you really need two OM. With 10 blades up, we have a hit rate of 7.5 per second. UM lasts for 4 seconds, so for 30 hits. With ~70% effective crit chance ("Crit chance is lucky" via Coralitos), you crit with 21 hits. 10% chance means, you'd refresh the buff two times within 4 seconds. Even if you are unlucky, you'd refresh it at least once.
Are you using all the cluster jewels including medium and smalls? it dosnt shows on pob
Also there is a lot of str and int required since you have not a single attribute on any item of ur gear
I am almost done crafting the chest, just need to get an Augment Crit harvest craft to add power charge, then will eventually add life and a resist.

Trying to figure out how to craft a hunter stygian belt possibly? Been looking for ones in the 6-7ex range, one popped up I should've bought but ended up not getting. So figured I'd possibly craft one if I don't see any pop up in the next day.

The ilvl 86 hunter stygian base is 3exalts. Can I just get a Ilvl 86 stygian normal and hunter exalt it to make it hunter influenced? I'm not too sure how I would go about crafting it so all the help is appreciated.

Also are you most of just using the cluster jewels in the guide suggested with the "mandatory" notables? Because even those ones are like 1exalt each about, and if you try to get some of the additional good mods its multiple exalts per cluster jewel.

Just trying to figure out as I level up to almost cluster jewel time, will likely spend an exalt on a large jewel and just get the mandatory notables if thats not a bad idea?

if so tell me where to improve then

Sure thing! I’ll put it in list format to make it a bit easier to read.

- Switch your Blade Vortex for a Vaal Blade Vortex, level 21 preferably.
- Switch your Hollowed Mana Flask for an Atziri’s Promise
- Switch your Foreboding Divine Mana Flask for a Coralito’s Flask
- Switch your Saturated Divine Life Flask for a Sulphur Flask
- Switch your Bubbling Sacred Life Flask for a Quartz Flask
- Get a Circle of Nostalgia with Herald of Agony buff effect and increased chaos damage with Herald of Agony modifiers
- Remove your Summon Skitterbots for Flesh and Stone
- Level your Withering Step to 20 and have it on left click
- Switch Plague Bearer for Precision level 1
- Add Aspect of the Spider onto a free suffix on a rare piece of gear and use as an aura
- Get a double Malevolence Watcher’s Eye (or Malev/Precision for budget)
- Allocate Dire Torment instead of Corruption
- Make sure you’re using a fully upgraded Lunaris pantheon for dodge chance

Also pulling your PoB seemed to either not properly anoint the three notables you want for Thread of Hope if you already had those, but make sure you have them (Heart of Oak, Swift Venoms, and Revenge of the Hunted). It also didn’t pull up a second medium or small cluster jewel on your top tree, but I’m not sure if you’ve left those out.

If you want meta gear upgrades look at getting an explode/curse chest, a tailwind/faster poisons boots, a chaos damage/crafted damage belt, and a spell damage/poison damage ring.

You could also optimize your cluster jewels a bit more, mainly your mediums. Switching them all to cDoT, preferably Circling Oblivion and Wicked Pall or Wasting Affliction as the second, along with making sure all your smalls are Fettle.

Also to give an idea of what a fully geared BV is capable of (outside of crazy corrupts), you should be killing conquerors within 2-3 seconds and killing the last phase of A8 Sirus in about 4 or 5 seconds, or less.

I've imported a couple of PoB and I'm starting to see it. I guess double the damage is > than +30% life? Working through how much gear I need to actually run some of that version of the build. Many ex for sure. Trying to work through how to get enough resist to cover -resists map mods and/or elemental weakness, do you just try to eat that or how does that work. The PoB I imported has 74% resist on one resist rather than 86+ I'm use to seeing.

Is 4500-5K life really enough w/o Kint's/wind danver, seems like that is massive difference between 5.5K and -40% damage with kints/wind dancer? Impressive DPS increase, but is that better if pushing for higher levels? Does that have the survivability, or should I level and then switch for the more DPS?

I was able to do everything in the game last league with about 4.4k life and no added defensive bonuses from a unique chest or Wind Dancer.

A fully min-maxed build can get around 5k-5.2k I believe, but that requires some heavy investment or crafting.

Essentially the key rule of this build is offense = defense. The higher your damage, the better you'll stay alive as you kill things before they can kill you.
