[3.12] Hasunic's Toxic Rain / Caustic Arrow Trickster | Leaguestarter | Ailment Immunity | SSF

Hi, so we have 2 main skills, toxic rain for boss and caustic for mobs right? Do we have to switch bow using toxic rain for bosses (case I only have mods add + lvl from bow since beginning of league)?
Also what make this better than focus only toxic rain and leave out those socket for others defesive skill?
How other unique bow darkscorn and quill rain for beginning mapping compare to crafted one?

Quill rain is so bad and darkscorn are for poison builds. Dont use them.

You can very late game use toxic rain only, but CA is just much stronger early and doesnt have the same gear requirement as toxic rain does.

I usually just have a 4-5 link with toxic rain at leaguestarts, there's no need to invest to many fusings into a chest piece, and this lets you use a large variety of unique / selfcrafted chests without having to link them.. You can use culling strike on your TR as 4th or 5th link as it gives 10% more damage to your CA aswell.

I have seen your practice runs, thanks for sharing them as it's so useful!

Have you tried leveling with Spellslinger soulrend instead and swapping once early/mid maps?
What would be your comment on this?

While it might be quicker, as a casual player it would require me to do swaps which also takes times.

28-75 Soulrend
75 -> CA/TR

I just know that spellslinger is very fast, so it will probably work very well.

I dunno when soulrend will fall off, maybe never? It's very strong too.

Just remember to have the correct colors in act 3 when u make the swap.

Hey I just have a question in crafting a descent bow. I think it was wrong to craft on an elder base. Got +arrow and +dotmulti.



Next step would be: Suffix can not be changed -> scour so I isolate the both suffixes.

Is there any chance in safely finishing this craft with like +gem, multicraft, + 2support, +chaosdotmulti.

Or is there any other chance in getting a good bow out of this?

Yeah... Incoming "Socketed Gems are Supported by Level 10 Onslaught" slam. :/ If the bow is 83+, then you also got 2 extra mods diluting the pool, the bleed and the poison one. You might be lucky though?

But generally no-influence is recommended since vicious projectiles bows got nerfed out of the main game, because all the influence mods are diluting the pool and half of them aren't even blocked by "cannot roll attack modifiers" that blocks all the normal mods.

Now I actually got the bow with onslaught on. I tried to get +Gems but now I got this. Is this bow worth to finish in any direction or should I retry with (suffix can not be changed - no attack modifier - slam)

/Edit: Ok fun fact is that i kinda got the bow in a second alt spam try. Its only T2 Dmg Multi but T1 Attack Speed. Feel its kinda ok :)

You have to retry. Every attempt will Cost 4 ex.

You can just finalize the second bow (uninfluenced thicket) and go with that, the elder one atm is a gamble and can end up being an endless currency sink if unlucky.

Jey, thanks for the fast answer. I hot another question. In your POB you use a bow with "fires an additional arrow" the BIS is with attack speed. Is there any break point where the attack speed is outclassing the additional arrow?
