Set your profile to public or link your gear to let people understand better how you going, the way your profile is right now we can`t import your char.
@oestergreen

I've been having a blast with this build but I don't know what to upgrade next. I'm already doing t16's comfortably but I'd like more damage and defences.

Can you take a look at my PoB and tell me what to focus on next? I know for sure I need to change my rings pronto.

@oestergreen

May I also have yours or anyone else kind advice if is not too much to ask. I have invested a bit already in this build and I`m loving it, but it still feels like I get hit with a truck in T14/T15/T16 especially.

What would be my next improvement for defense/offense? I know 5.2k ES is kind low but I feel like I could be getting more ES regen from something I am not being able to understand where.

Your ES on most items is way way low.
Having 5k es in red maps is not sustainable at all and it really doesn't cost much at all to get 150+ es on all basic items. Gloves (1-5c = 150es+), Boots, Rings with 40+ intel +40+raw ES (1c each)

A lot of new ES players are underestimating how ES scales, it's not at all like a life build where a few extra life points doesn't move your bar much.

ES scales way higher and the difference in using a 150es shield vs 250es shield is literally 300++ es "health" in your pool. Same as getting higher ES on all pieces, even when they only cost a few C to upgrade.

Look at my char, I got 7.3k ES in crappy gear (my 6L and crown are the only "good" items), im wearing entry-level-gear crafted with cheap 0.5 dense fossils and comfortable clearing t16 and bossing.

Also quality your amulet, for another 220es pool.

Your weapon also needs some love, look at the stats section in the guide and go for a weapon with more of those related stats, again they start as cheap as 2-3c with actual good stats. :)

Thank you, thank you!! Most of my items I was worried about the more dmg stuff like "advanced traps" in gloves and that's why I went for a lower ES one since the high ones that have this skill are expensive. But I see now that I have some improvements to do in boots and rings and the weapon as well.

May I also ask you why do you have cold and fire damage in rings? Isn't that like a waste of mod? Do we need fire or cold damage in this build?
I was getting run over in T15s at first, mostly because of the impatience of throwing traps into a pack and running in before it pops, and not having the ES on block proc enough for that particular pack.

I agree with one of the earlier comments that relying on the ES on block before you get a high block chance shield feels a little dicey, and either your strategy of using Crown or some other sources of armor/phys reduction are important (my enchant is on a Hubris, so no luck there, yet). Once I got enough damage (6L with awakened added lightning, pretty meh weapon), I actually swapped out Wrath for Determination + a couple of armor affixes, supporting the strength req with the mastery on the Attribute wheel we take. Boss killing is a bit slower, sure, but clear is still totally fine in red maps, and I feel WAYY better defensively. Haven't died since.

Will swap back once an adequate attack block shield comes into play, or I might quickly experiment with Glancing + Divine Shield on a thread of hope to see if I even need to invest heavily into block on the tree or Rumi's. Once our max ES is high enough, all we really need is a medium amount of consistent mitigation since our methods of sustain are so robust.

So for anyone who feels their damage is good but they melt to big packs, if your shield doesn't have high block chance, consider finding a way to sneak in some armor until you get that sorted out - a little bit can go a long way. We basically have 7L damage with Pain Attunement, so we can afford to sacrifice a little bit of damage here and there to bump up our survivability.

Just my 2c. Love the build, I've run it a few times now, but this is the first time since Sirus first came out.
