Isn't Flesh and Stone better with same 25%mana reservation? We blind nearby monsters reducing their damage thanks to our ascendancy node Born in Shadows. While Flesh and Stone helps to reduce distant attack and spell damage (both physical and elemental). I think it is more valuable than pure physical damage reduction.
My question is - do we burn or chill enemies (particularly Uber Bosses) for Explosive Expert to fully work in this build?

I think you can also add as little a 1 fire dmg anywhere on gear/jewels to proc burning. Burning does not always mean ignite.

That is correct, it shouldn't be a problem. :)

That being said, I'm still looking forward to really test chain reaction vs no chain reaction (with the new trigger area passive gains) .. I know for a certain in all previous leagues, not having chain felt significantly weaker on bosses.

But now we'll see with the improved trigger area if it holds up.

I found it late in 3.15 and had a lot of fun, both leveling and running maps!
But now I'm going to league-start with it, with no fancy gear.

Freeze immunity > F&S reduction IMHO
Corruptions should make this intresting to, for all we know there is a freeze or elemental ailment immunity corruption that can throw some wrenches in build too.
