I'm not the guy you asked, but I got a lot of ideas for toughness and passives from the builds part of poe.ninja. Narrow it down to Assassin, Ice Nova, exclude Headhunter, CI, and Pain Attunement - that will give you a good overview of what you can do with life based CoC. Seems there's a lot of options, some go full in on cluster jewels, some ignore them. So looking at your tree, is it worth to go cluster jewels? Pretty bad at PoB but i think i got everything right in there . 2) Here is my cluster jewels. IMO i feel like going cluster is a much better choice. Its increased my dmg aswell as my HP It cost a litte bit more but totally worth it. Once i hit 95 i will add another small jewel with % increased life + Fettle or life + life leech not sure what i prefer. Took a quick look at your gear. 1) Having 20/20 gems will up your dps alot. 2) Replacing your current amulet enchant with Heart of ice is a big dps increase. 3) Quick look at your PoB shows me you got to much APS with buffs. Make sure your under 7.57 with buffs will help you with the dps vs bosses. Best way to lower your APS is divining your cospri's for lower attack speed % Having 2 copsri's with 10% attackspeed lands me at 7.52 fully buffed with charges & elusive. 4) I took the life leech away and added another support gem for more dps. Since i feel like i get enough leech from Atziri's promise flask. And sustaining hp is not a issue. The times i die from simulacrum, Sirius or any other boss is when i get one shotted. Easy way to get crit, and I think you can get more out of your passives with the jewels. Take a look at my PoB if you want - https://pastebin.com/rfiF7rgT Keep in mind this is far from an optimal setup, I could certainly improve my gem links, life, get a better Watcher's Eye, more optimised cluster jewels but hey - all I wanted was to steamroll all map tiers and kill Sirus. I was spending too much time in PoB and not enough killing stuff so I just focused on crit, got shock, some life and hey presto. Take a look if you want some pointers. I've read quite a lot about the whole cyclone APS issue and the magic limit of 7,49 which shouldn't be exceeded but the one thing I couldn't figure out is where to get the actual APS number from? Ingame when I open my character info screen, switch to cyclone and kill some monsters I have 7,57 APS. Using Path of building, switching mainskill to cyclone, activating the flasks and editing one cospris by adding an additional 20 IAS (Elusive) I end up quite lower than ingame. Which number is correct? Having a blast, great build. Changed some things with cluster jewels for more life and dmg. Also removed ice golem and added a standard CWDT with immortal call for some extra survivability. Here is my gear. Next up is getting a head with -9 to cold pen Replacing my current Watchers eye with cold pen. Pretty bad at PoB but i think i got everything right in there . 2) Here is my cluster jewels. IMO i feel like going cluster is a much better choice. Its increased my dmg aswell as my HP It cost a litte bit more but totally worth it. Once i hit 95 i will add another small jewel with % increased life + Fettle or life + life leech not sure what i prefer. Took a quick look at your gear. 1) Having 20/20 gems will up your dps alot. 2) Replacing your current amulet enchant with Heart of ice is a big dps increase. 3) Quick look at your PoB shows me you got to much APS with buffs. Make sure your under 7.57 with buffs will help you with the dps vs bosses. Best way to lower your APS is divining your cospri's for lower attack speed % Having 2 copsri's with 10% attackspeed lands me at 7.52 fully buffed with charges & elusive. 4) I took the life leech away and added another support gem for more dps. Since i feel like i get enough leech from Atziri's promise flask. And sustaining hp is not a issue. The times i die from simulacrum, Sirius or any other boss is when i get one shotted. CWDT + immortal call is something i highly recommend. Could you check my profile ? I cant get shaper ring on atm but i have passive tree as you and could you check character AMAZE_Quarantine lvl 94 so far you think it could do shaper etc ? For sure i think you could. Hard to check your stats out without you having a ring or gloves on. Only improvements i would do is swap Atziri's step for boots with higher max HP, resistant and movement speed. And throw HOI setup away and invest in a CWDT + immortal call setup. HOI feels like such a overkill for mapping. And mess up your APS for bosses making you do less dmg. I run t16 with zealotry + hatred + precision and everything dies instant anyway. Havent tried Shaper myself yet, will try him, invested my time on sirius and other parts of the game.(play like 4 hours avg daily) But i feel like i have plenty dps and surv to kill him. If you know the fights (sirius & shaper) they should not really be a problem even with semi optimal gear. Its more strategy then a DPS race like uber elder. I have dropped that string and set up a cluster jewel which i believe is a better use of skill points.
