Skeleton Mages aren't nerfed. Only base Skeletons.
Are we screwed by the patch?
The leaks above were correct + feeding frenzy no longer has any damage multiplier for supported minions specifically. It only grants the buff, but the chance is increased from 20% to 44%. I feel like many builds will run FF on a secondary minion setup just to get the global buff. For this one we will need to think is zombies being aggresive is enough QoL to warrant a dead link.

And there is -1 zombie coming from the gem. So with new Baron, and new gem, at 1500 strength we have 3 fewer zombies. (3 from Baron instead of 5 and -1 from gem)

Switching from bone barrier to commander of darkness seems like a good idea. Just use steelskin instead of bone armor. Geofri chest seems completely dead, saqawal variant should be fine. Thoughts?

Edit: spirit offering still gives more dps than flesh offering to zombies by quite a bit. we just might have to press a life flask now.

There’s no denying zombiemancers were hit hard (2-4 fewer overall zombies). I thought they would change the ES of SO to recover over a duration rather than instantly (thought that would happen in 3.9)...they completely gutted it. FO will be by far the better option in my opinion paired with Brutality in the zombie links. Rember we want speed clears and FO comes with a lot of movement speed. Brutality means better synergy with Pride and Impale.

Commander of Darkness is looking like a viable option to replace Bone Barrier, but I also might go back to Plaguebringer: 10% more damage dealt and 10% less damage received.

It’s also possible we should consider Triad Grip alternatives. ST will still be viable with the correct investment, but with the SO nerf we really have no reason to take it. Alternatively crafted rares can be viable as well.

I’m not sure why we would want to use Steelskin, VMS is still better with enough armour.
