Elementalist and Occultist Ascendencies have been removed from the game.

My opinion is that monster slaying ARPGs cannot be melee friendly. You can't kill two screens of monsters with a dagger in a blink of an eye without using some sort of spell. For example, Molten Strike. How can burning lava projectiles flying out of your swords be considered melee? The melee ends at the reach of your weapon.

OK... half the projectile time... so half the DPS... what? They get more common with cast speed? Oh well, here we go, 100% cast speed and we got the same DPS and anything above that and we'll have... yes! A buff to WO we got!

Well, WO it is once again for 50% of the community.

Not to speak of doubling the DPS while channeling.


GGG... you buffed the skill.
GGG balance is like getting a pizza which is burnt on the sides, raw in the middle and misses the most of the toppings.
Then upon sending it back you get a raw side, burnt middle and enough toppings to drench everything in grease.
Everything fixed but still broken.

of course the one melee skill I love to play might as well got no attention. RIP Wild Strike. idk how you all can buff tectonic slam and think hmm ya wild strike doesn't need anything....Great job guys.
Can someone explain to me this little thing over here because my brain is too small to understand it:

"Multistrike
This support now provides a lower attack speed multiplier, just over half that of the existing support gem. The previous iteration provided far too large an attack speed multiplier for a single gem, causing problems with performance, effects, animations and balance. The skill repeats now have a damage multiplier, dealing double damage on the third repeat." - Development Manifesto

"Multistrike
Now grants supported skills 35% more melee attack speed at gem level 1 (from 75% more), up to 44% more at gem level 20 (from 94% more)." - Content Update 3.7.0


So where is the "just over half of existing" part? 35*2 = 70/75 current | 44*2 = 88/94 current.

Either someone's making false promises again or there was a mistake along the way with yet again no explanation for it.
