Spent a little bit more currency, I have to say this build has the most satisfying single target damage for what I have invested in it of all the builds I have tried.
I have also switched to a nice flask setup full of MS, and a 21/23 Vaal BV, the AoE feels pretty good know (with increased AoE in the 6 link). I'm getting short of "cheap" upgrades however. Anyway some experienced crafter could give a tip on how to craft a great chest, once it is qualitied/linked ? Is a shaped base a good idea to try to hit +1 to gems ? | |

Played this build up to level 91 so far in Legion HC:

Also, the damage is definitely a bit lower than anticipated when staying tanky for hardcore content. Any recommendations? Even if I can't squeeze more damage out, I still have a lot of fun with the build! Also, I've been using herald of ice for pops but am leveling ash for more damage later on. | |
" Well, for damage Energy Leech is very inefficient. You are capped on leech just from Cerb Limb anyway, and you will also be on full life majority of time. Efficiacy is also questionable. I would go for setup I have outlined, e.g Controlled Destruction and Inc Aoe/Conc Effect swap. Inc Aoe is also super good for clear. Also, with new "instant" skills, Faster Casting and Faster Attacks are dead links 99% of time as well, so you can try like CWDT + PF (for both survivability and damge) + Combustion as well if you dont want to self cast it (the CWDT setup is actually kind of nice). Also, Vaal RF + Vaal BV will just obliterate anything, so I would add Vaal RF for sure (I dont think it is dangerous on this build at all, you will just leech it back and your EHP is already high enough anyway). Also, try to get 25% conversion on gloves not 22 (just tiny change, but I personally like more reliable cold damage output). For fastest clear, triple herald would be probably best (if you want to speed up leveling), but for damage it will be quite meh ofc. Otherwise ash was enough for me personally for clearing and I had no need for Ice. Also, in general, more damage = better clear, because then you can just Shield charge, spin for split second, shield charge, spin, and just run around with like 1-3 BV stacks obliterating everything, its super fast when it works like that. Uber atziri done, now im farming shaper like crazy.
Love clear speed and dmg but Disintegrator sometimes can get me crazy :D And its easy to craft good items cause dense fossils are very cheap on melee league. Gear:

I see you added a combo storm cascade combustion and Curse on Hit + Assasin's Mark into it and Storm Cascade with shield charge.
After you informed me that Herald of Thunder+curse oh + warlords mark is not ideal I actually changed it to assassins mark instead. You wouldn't have to cast it as HoT triggers it and one can use other movement skills beside shield charge... |
