Yeah that is definitely valid option, only issue with doing that is that Arcane Surge will need to be Lvl 3. Both Purifying Flame and Combustion give us buffs (PF gives Consecrated Ground for 100% increased crit), but it is by no means necessary (I already discussed this above, I am just trying to make optimal use out of all gem sockets, but everyone likes something else, and 2 free sockets are always nice, while having surge up while mapping as well).

Been following this thread since a couple days now and I want to use it as my build for this league. Is it viable for all content, and did this build get hit by any nerfs/buffs since the patch notes came out?

Thanks for creating this guide btw, I really like how you describe the weapon crafting part. (Im big noob regarding crafting).

I started theorycrafting the build before patch notes were out, so it got "slightly" nerfed in process (harder to get ES, so I had to sacrifice some damage, but ended up with actually more ES). It will be definitely viable for everything, only issue with the build will be that it is weak to both Phys and Ele reflect map mods, so you would need to reroll those.

No regen mods should be doable, with lvl 1 cyclone and ring/amulet craft (for either - mana cost or % of damage taken gained as mana)

This looks like it will be a good build. It would be nice to see it with some realistic gear not all end tier items and see how it preforms while leveling.

Check the dropdown in gear in Items section, there is budget setup and setup for hardcore players.

How is that? Base duration is 4s.


100% increased duration for each frenzy charge consumed from Phase Run applies to anything duration-based linked as support (don't ask me why it works like that, but it does, its funny).
