(3.14) Toxic Rain + Caustic Arrow | 5-10m Sirus DPS | Fast + Durable | 50c Budget/SSF Uber Elder
I got a mild 6l with +2 bow gems and attack speed, was wondering what I should focus on now? None of the nodes I have left to get in the tree give damage. Are damage increases at this point only from jewels and gem level?
What stance should I be in for Flesh and Stone? Last edited by The_Fatness#6503 on Dec 20, 2019, 2:01:31 PM

I just finished my first Awakener kill with this build (bricked my first two by blocking the entrance off with black holes).
Overall a pretty smooth experience, although the damage is a bit lacking but that's probably on my gear more than the build. I'm waiting to unveil my own +2 support, I'm leveling my own empower, and I don't have any multi or gem levels on gloves/amulet or a malevolence watchers eye. My awakener dropped gloves which I got a pretty sick curse on hit combo on so I may swap out of Maloney's and go for a multi quiver + anoint whispers of doom. i'm using a 6l ballista totem with toxic rain and withering touch with this build. anybody knows if this applies wither as good as the spell totem setup?

" Toxic rain has a small hitbox and cant reliably proc withering touch. Plus, ballista support comes with 50% less att speed. So, no, it wont be as good as wither totem. discord id: dejuvenate#5828

I'm running an inspired learning as well. I've been chaining t16's with this build for around 4 days now and is an absolute powerhouse transition build. I've steamrolled all the content thus far except for Sirus. For the past 3 leagues this build has made my life insanely easy and is certainly the best league starter for me by far and can reliably farm all content. With more chaos res I can go deathless with Sirus but that'll take a minute to work into my build. |

How do i go about crafting a bow that i crafted. It has....
- +2 level of socketed bow gems - 29% to damage overtime multi - 268 to accuracy rating |

I dont understand how CurseOnHit works with Frenzy.
Frenzy, Despair, and CurseOnHit are suppose to be linked together. I hit an enemy with ToxicRain, CurseOnHit procs, which then casts Despair for me. But Frenzy isnt a curse so how does it cast Frenzy for me? Or am I suppose to cast Frenzy myself first to proc CurseOnHit (to autocast Despair) then start spamming ToxicRain? ~~~ Regarding Flesh and Stone gem, I just leave it in sand stance and that's it? Also, which auras should I prioritize? Malevolence for damage? Discipline or Flesh/Stone for defence first? Thanks! Last edited by chapppy#2528 on Dec 20, 2019, 11:45:42 PM

Here's a bow I crafted for this build. Got a bit lazy and crafted t2 mods but I'll craft the t1 mods after I unlock them. Here's how I did it for anyone interested: I alt spammed until I hit the +2 bow and t1 attack speed, which took around 7000 alterations. Then I used the imprinting beast and regaled. I got lucky and regaled a suffix (low tier crit chance). If you end up regaling a prefix, you can try to annul it away. Then, as the guide suggests, I crafted cannot roll attack modifiers and used the beast that adds a prefix and deletes a random suffix. Took a couple of tries but I eventually ended up deleting the crit chance, which left me with the +3 gems and t1 attack speed. I didn't end up having to use the imprint but I highly suggest using it as insurance since it can get very expensive in case you get unlucky. |

I was doing some alt spamming on this base I got and ended up hitting the AS. Decided to just yolo regal and hit the damage over time multi. I still can't believe that just happened... |

" The Curse on Hit gem works like this: whenever you cast a spell that hits, it also applies the linked curse. So what you do is exactly what you say in the end. You cast Frenzy on the boss, this will apply the curse, and then you start casting Toxic Rain. Do note that since this build has almost no accuracy, and Frenzy needs to hit, you might need to cast it more than once in order to actually hit the boss (the monster will have a purplish icon above it once it hits). And, it goes without saying, you don't bother with that for trash mobs - just tough ones. |
