I went and messed around with POB accounting for harvest crafts. Mind you, this is very good gear and is something to shoot for; I mostly just wanted to look at these myself but figured I'd share.
Trickster: https://pastebin.com/z3gJ5yW3
~5400 HP
~3600 ES
~10m DPS + 2.5m Mirage Archer
14/65 dodge + ghost shrouds
Deadeye: https://pastebin.com/BnsC81AZ
~6500 HP
~12m DPS + 2.8m Mirage Archer x3
54/75 dodge + LGOH memes from poacher
These are both under ideal conditions with good gear, you'll likely see less throughput from both under real conditions. The deadeye is experimental with some wonky ES leech meme, not sure if it'll end up working out how I expect.
I'll probably be starting Deadeye just because I've done Trickster so many times. I'd expect Trickster to perform better, but on paper Deadeye looks pretty solid as well.
I should also mention that with the introduction of T0 mods, this top end gear will probably change. I'd expect even more defense and offensive throughput than what's projected due to the potential T0's. (They will be expensive)
About that Deadeye PoB. Theres very little AoE in that (Radius of 19 only), is that enough for max dps overlap? Carcass alone brings that to 23 (obv resist issues and no double curse), could swap out large cluster jewels to bow ones for Broadside which is another +2 each, but the Bow clusters with Broadside + Tempered + Martial prowess are around 7-8% less damage than chaos clusters.

Since it wasn't a super indepth look meant for a guide I was just giving it a pass-over since I more or less know the aoe %'s. Dying Sun and the extra smol 5% area node by shadow should bring it to 22. Any other swaps is a dam loss probably. Carcass sucks I ain't ever usin that shit.

I checked with the Toxic Rain dmg calculator, with 5 projectiles (no helm enchant, no endless munitions, no dying sun), the damage is practically the same with chaos clusters and bow clusters, the additional AoE overlap gives nearly identical dps compared to the bigger dots with chaos clusters.
When you add more projectiles though (which you probably want for minmaxing, at least 1-2), the bigger aoe does lead to better dps and at that point some combination of Broadside/Dying sun/Carcass sounds tempting. Never going to get enough aoe for something stupid like 10 projectiles as far as single target damage goes though.

You're welcome to post numbers but I haven't seen any calculators that are accurate or even napkin math that's close to reality.

I used this calculator: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1GyF3XY0qh9Of5re9e6GpSJWu6tvQrZlOqYMqnazjwdA/edit#gid=0
Obviously the calculator assumes X overlap for all pods which relies on multiple things like enemy size and movement but I dont think there isnt anything better.
With your PoB (254k dot, 4.72 attacks, 2.54 duration, 5 proj, 19 radius) you get 11.5M dps + mirage.
With bow clusters (Broadside, Tempered, Martial) you get 218k dot, 4.57 attacks, 2.54 duration, 5 proj, 23 radius which results in 11.6M dps + mirage.
Once you hit 25 radius you need to add more projectiles to see single target increase but until that point more aoe does increase the overlap rate. If using dying sun pretty much any extra AoE you get will increase single target damage too since the +2 projectiles gives a whole lot more aoe scaling potential, even with the flask itself giving some aoe. Same thing with Endless munitions (I am not sold on Wind ward).

Yeah this is just way way way way way way way way WAY over simplifying the calculation for pod overlap. Plus 80% is way too high. Extra projs also need an insane amount of radius to do anything. If mark or someone ever confirms the numbers on pod distribution we can get a number, but last I checked it was people trying to extrapolate numbers from gameplay.

If you think this is too simple, then give some suggestions on how to improve it?
Also I'm wondering have you do pods overlap testing ingame ever, because what matters is still the final result in the game, not the dps you're seeing in PoB
I cast remi - a very beginner friendly guide : https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/2866127

For Trickster, the new meta is going Swift Killer first and respeccing, right?
It seems to cover ~40/50% lost damage from previous Patient Reaper for speeding through Act 4-8/9.
