Welp i have reached a point where i can't clear T14 fully juiced Tropical Island with sextants and scarabs. Either i m running out of time before i get to the boss or die to the boss with the shit tons of mobs arround me.
My current gear is . I am using the rare quiver and my POB dps (if i have set it correctly) seems to be around 180k DOT dmg. Any suggestions on what could i tweak to get way more damage without losing on defenses? | |

"The best is probably synthesized one with extra implicits... Legacy bow will also have more attack speed, due to extra multimod (attack speed when a rare / unique is nearby), but on the other hand you can't use awakened vicious projectiles as it won't stack together. Not sure if the old version (non synthesized) is that much better because afaik dot suffix was added already after multimod / vp nerf. We don't have super strong 7th gem you have to pick between damage on full life, efficacy and mirage archer (pick 2 out of 3). I think the 2h melee builds lost more because they had strong gems so extra maim / fortify was much stronger, or rather they had better options for a 7th gem. | |
" My gear is about equal or maybe perhaps even a bit worse than yours and I have absolutely no problem doing that especially if I use breaches in order to abuse the timer etc. I would suggest switching to caustic arrow when farming splinters and when doing simulacrums (wave 1-18, switch to TR at 19) though , the instant dmg that CA causes and the longer duration makes it a faster clearer assuming you have enough damage output (TR is vastly superior against bosses though so I usually find a good time switching back to TR before the end, usually after clearing the 3rd incursion i can take my time and switch out) I also gained about 20% more dps deviating from the build in OP and getting 2 jewel clusters nodes as well and stacking passive nodes if you haven't done that already. "You should look into a hunter amulet with the following mods: +1 to chaos skill gems +1 to dex skill gems chaos damage over time multiplier Getting one of the gem mods + chaos multi should be within your current budget. If that means squeezing more resists elsewhere, try to do that (with catalysts, jewels, gloves etc.) Also this is minor, but get lvl 21 malevolence and quality on curse on hit. | |
i have a hunter influenced amulet with strength can i just craft it for the + 1 to all level of chaos gems?

"If poedb is right, you need lvl 82+ amulet to roll the gem mods on it. If yours fulfills that criteria, feel free to throw some aberrant fossils at it (according to craft of exile it takes on average ~200 tries to get chaos gems + t1 chaos multi alone, so be warned). |
