(3.14) Toxic Rain + Caustic Arrow | 5-10m Sirus DPS | Fast + Durable | 50c Budget/SSF Uber Elder

Thanks for the build, I am progressing my Atlas at the moment and the build delivers.

I am wondering guys what you think about flesh and Stone vs Grace? The OP is using Grace in the POB. Also, In the POB, at the very beginning, the OP is using 3 "attack and Cast Speed" nodes, but in all three screen shot he is using the 3 :Physical and Chaos Damage" node. In this thread I saw people using one or the other. What is the best for the build?

I could try Grace once my Enlighten is high enough, but I will have to recolor my helmet, so I would like to know.

Thanks!

I guarantee I am a noob, and don't understand, but here goes! I switched from

to

and see my tooltip damage nearly double. So the question is, what am I missing? Is it that our damage isn't clearly shown since most of it is DOT?
Don't check tooltip in game, check POB, and with POB your total damage goes from 17k down to 13k with infractem.

Anyway there's a section on the bottom of the guide called "how not to be a tooltip warrior" it explains how the damage scales and why a lot of stuff that looks good "on tooltip" won't help as much as expected (2 typical things that look better on tooltip than in reality is conc effect and decay supports, their value is inflated in comparison to what they really do).

What are you missing? You have lvl 17 toxic rain! First thing you need to do when you hit lvl 70/72 is to buy lvl 20/21 gem.

Also you have a bow with +2 to support gems and you don't have empower! That means you're losing a lot of dps. You should buy at least lvl 3 corrupted empower, that's very cheap because they're throwaways from people gambling for lvl 4.

How do 1 remove one of the suffixes safely?

Do i just test my luck with annulment or?
I don't think there's a "safe" way when you need to keep a suffix and get rid of another. You have 50/50 chance to break it with annul or to be good. If you annul the dot suffix you have to start over. If you annul the prefix then one of the bad suffixes you can recover by paying 1 ex for cannot roll attack modifiers and then using rank 3 Leo in Research in Syndicate (cheaper) or using another exalt to put it back.

How did you end up with a 4 mod bow though? Chaos spam? Fossils? Because alt + regal should get a 3 mod from what I know.

Personally I think Grace costs too much reservation unless you really really need it to min max the speed gain from Queen of the forest after flasks. Vaal Grace can be used without reserving normal Grace. Flesh & Stone serves similar function (defensive aura) for half the mana cost. Also anointing any mana reservation node is expensive, meanwhile things like Corruption are moderately cheap, so that's another opportunity cost.

If you mean the trickster starting area, both are good and it depends on your current setup, you need to balance stats, if you have a lot of increased damage, attack speed might be better, if you have a lot of attack speed, chaos damage might be better. Tbh both are viable and the difference of these 3 points won't make or break your build, if you don't wanna number crunch pick whichever.

EDIT: I have my answer, the chance to evade is 1% lower with grave, so I think it does not worth using it for the mana reserved. Thanks everyone.

I was wondering as I have this jewel that synergise with grace, if I sould not replace flesh and stone with grace on my helmet? Wondering if the 8% evade chance worth it

I would add I prioritize survivability and balance over pure speed. I may end up recoloring the helmet and try it, but I do not want the build to become more squishy just for speed.

Running this build was just trying to start some red maps last night and couldn't handle it at all. I'm not sure what to upgrade to help out, could really use some advice.

You have too little life...

amulet = 0
gloves = 24
quiver = 32
rings = 0

only belt has decent amount of life

You need to upgrade the pieces above for more life.

Also you need to be resist capped from gear if you aren't, you should never have to use quicksilver flask "of resistance".

The jewel u have slotted above herbalism is very weak, 1 mod not even max rolled, no useful corruption, you can buy something better very cheap. Generally if you don't have good jewels don't spec jewel sockets... or if you do be sure you can afford buying something that is worth these 2 passive points. You could have specced blood drinker instead and get some life.

After that the next big step is bow upgrade but for that prepare to pay 4-7 ex.
I have about 50ex to blow on the build and I am thinking I should just get a great watchers eye. What 2 mods would be best? Malevolence damage over time with clarity - mana or malevolance causes you to not take blee ddamage? Or maybe Gain 18% of Maximum Mana as Extra Maximum Energy Shield while affected by Clarity?

Here is my gear. Anything else I should upgrade instead? I already killed uber elder an a8 sirus, just want to max out my character, mostly improving clear speed.

IGN PoopyPotter
respecced one of my alt characters and geared him with this build, its fast and ez can clear up to t16 no problem

Will try and find some new stuff with more life. I am resistance capped I just need to get a adrenaline flask for my quicksilver. That jewel socket is just kind of a filler that I found, trying to find a watchers eye just haven't had luck with it yet. Not really sure what to do for upgrading bow.
Any major benefit in using awakened cursed on hit support? Only major differences I see are the additional chance to cast on hexproof and no reduction in curse duration.

The other bennefit its that on max level you can use other curse, like temporal chains on mobs
