Hi there and thanks for the guide. I've been playing this build and currently really enjoying it, farming T14-T16 without problems. I've spent about 17ex in the build (11 for the bow).
I want to follow the advice of not using a Maloney's Mechanism to benefit of the damage multiplier on a rare quiver. I apply despair thanks to a curse on hit ring. However I'm barely using frenzy charges, I can manually use frenzy but it's quite tedious to do. Blood rage is not an option since it depletes the energy shield and prevents energy shield recharge. What are your suggestions about this point ? Not sure how people are able to sustain mana with the following auras:
Discipline Malevolence Flesh and Stone Clarity (lvl 1) For clearing it is fine but I attack faster than I can regen if I can't kill trash to replenish mana. Is this how it is supposed to be or do I need to find higher -mana cost rolls or get more mana regen on gear or something? | |
Hi there, I am playing your build and am in the process of crafting the bow. Right now, I have my two suffixes attack speed and DoT mult (tier 1).
So What's the next step ? If I craft "cannot roll" attack modifier I run the risk of losing my suffixes ? If I craft "suffix cannot be changed" I have little chance of only rolling the +1 to socketed gem level. Should I start by putting in the "can have up to 3 crafted modifiers" ? |

Not sure if there's an elegant solution, you could try getting it on a quiver with fossil crafting (shuddering fossil mod afaik), but it's gonna be so goddamn hard I don't think it's a realistic option. I've checked on trade and they're super rare and expensive, so must be hard to hit the mods. Proof: You could also use Disciple of the Slaughter anoint, but that locks you out of other options and won't work on bosses. Or get second curse + poacher's mark, but that's even more convoluted. EDIT: There's also a mod with chance to gain frenzy charge on kill on elder gloves, don't know how rare that is. PoB tells me to use Malevolence + Grace + Enlighten + Discipline. Forum Tells me to use something completely different. And in your 3.9 Sirius Kill you don't appear to be using any aura at all. So What are we actually supposed to use? | |
"If you have 2 suffixes you wish to keep, do not use beast craft option, use exalt slam or rank 3 Leo in research bench option. When you put cannot roll attack modifiers this should block the exalt slam from putting a suffix, because craft will take last suffix slot. Hopefully you don't have an elder influenced bow because I've heard people exalt slamming it and getting onslaught on kill or something... (Elder bow is useless since VP mod got ripped.) After that you can remove / replace the "cannot roll attack mods" craft with multimod and craft the remaining prefixes. | |
"Do the calc how much ES you're getting from pure evasion chest from Escape Artist's conversion and see whether it's worth for you going hybrid chest or not. Neither of these chests provide anything special offensively / defensively, Qotf is just for people who wanna min max their movement speed (but you need to ensure you have enough evasion to actually gain not lose speed). Perfect Form / Carcass Jack offer qualities some people might value over just life / eva / es / resistances. You could also just craft a yellow and hope for hitting desirable defensive mods. " 1. Get empower. It's mandatory if you have "+2 to support gems" bow, inspiration does nothing as this is netiher crit nor elemental build. 2. Quiver is meh. Only 2 useful mods: chaos multi and life (low-ish), defo needs upgrade. 3. Same applies to your abyss jewel in belt. Adds damage to attacks is worthless, you can use that gem to get life / resists / missing stats like str or int, etc. I imagine you're swapping from HOA build that was using the attack mods? Judging from the circle of nostalgia your character is wearing. Basically the only damage mods you want to stack are chaos multi / damage over time multi / attack speed / increased aoe (increased duration too but not sure if there are any stats on items for that), everything else invest in defense. Drop all the accuracy, crit, adds x to y to attack mods, these are not useful to this build. Also you have 2 anti-bleed flask but nothing against freeze or curses, cinderswallow is not that great because it's basically weaker Patient Reaper you have from ascendancy... |
