Balance Changes in Path of Exile: Betrayal

I just want GGG to please develop a text to
speech program that reads aloud everything in Bex's voice. That is all. Thank you. |

" The glory of PoE is that people can do what they want to do. Now a lot of people cannot do this anymore. Yes, it really is that simple. Last edited by chrdong#1234 on Dec 4, 2018, 6:28:23 PM

My biggest issue with the DW change is with movement skills more so than anything else.

" Nah, has no real potential. Any build that relies on those mechanics or orb of storms has no real potential to go beyond t11/12 maps with anything but joke mods. Not that Death's Hand off-hand builds had potential to go beyond that either. Kind of hints at the real problem with the game since it came out. Most builds are simply dead-end sooner or later. | |

Hi friends. I don't mean to sound like confrontational but where the hell has anyone answered the op's question. Are we getting twice the totems??? so are we able to cast 1 less totem for the ability to cast 2 at once??? totally lame. or are we getting twice the totems??? as in I cast 2 for every 1 available. so 6 ???? please answer the ops question.

" I think it means two totems for people who use totem skills that are not spell totem. Flame Totem, Searing Bond, etc. I think we'll find out later though, probably three hours or less now I'm guessing. Last edited by Jakzca#7793 on Dec 4, 2018, 7:13:00 PM

" Reading is hard isn't it? It clearly states that instead of getting +1 max totem, you get +1 totems per summon to a total of 2 totems summon with 1 click, so i.e. 5 max totems and 1 totem per cast, becomes 4 max totems with 2 totems per cast. |

it states you will cast 2 instead. what do you not understand about instead?

" an* exchange. If these rage posts based on limited information are normal discussion to you, I’d suggest some English comprehension to go with your English grammar studies. |

" You don't have to understand "you people". Games are for enjoyment. You find enjoyment with one play style... I find it in another. I see you've been playing since 2015... I've been playing since the day after open Beta release. Yes, go a head laugh at me, my go to league starter is sunder jugg with Prismatic Elcipse in the off-hand. For an old slow guy like myself, this the only inexpensive endgame viable set-up I've found that reliable allows me to farm to be able to buy gear for the ridiculous expensive set-ups that are meta end-game viable for leagues. So take away my ability to make currency enough to try the Meta build de jour, takes away my enjoyment of the game. A fact of life. GGG has already gotten two to three thousand of dollars my household over the 5 (almost 6) years I and my wife have played but that doesn't make the future of GGG... its younger folks. There's younger folks playing sunder jugg who put my build to shame. IF you want to pick on me for that too, so be it. GGG thinks this is the right move, it's all good.... it means I've probably been playing this game too long. GGG does a great job at providing new content... some good, some bad. I've been a defender of GGG for that reason. While I'm not particularly keene on this release and been losing interest in this game because red tier map drop rates have not been sustainable for me, does not give you right to call me "you people" or to laugh at my build. Do I think for moment that GGG is going to listen to the likes of me, you're wrong. As Chris has said, GGG does what it thinks PoE needs now. If that no longer includes really old guy like me, that's fine. In fact, it's all good. I play because I enjoy it. It's fun to mindless kill things after I've worked all day. And it's also fun to theory craft builds.... I'm still trying to make viable witch physical wander. When the enjoyment is gone, it's time to move on.... which was the intent of my original post... I think, it's time for me to move and after almost 6 years of playing, I didn't want to with out saying a word first. /rant |
