[3.8] Demi's Infinite Tinkerer, the Lightning Trap Saboteur (EVERYTHING/BUDGET VIABLE)

Thanks for the build guide, just got my first ever Uber Elder kill!

Didn't make too many major changes to the build at all, but did a few things I haven't seen mentioned so here we are:

You can get +1 to all lightning skill gems on one handed weapons (I used wands) which is a huge boost to lightning trap but also to Wrath, Skitterbois and Lightning Spire.

Shaper gloves can roll trap damage which is nice.

Damage is absolutely huge if you get a chance to preload or have a few seconds (like shaper beam etc.). I honestly think maximising damage is not remotely needed. I was actually shocked how quickly damage goes down when you can lay it on thick.

Specifically for Uber I decided to go with the pierce enchant due to having zero confidence to be able to actually target things properly. This works very well for damage too as you can use slower projectiles. As I said, damage is not really an issue and it's a big quality of life improvement.

Lightning spire is massively OP for blight chokepoints.

Quality on flame dash makes it much better due to being able to use it more quickly if you are using for movement/defence.

Pretty much every itemslot needs improvement. How much currency do you have lying around? So I can make better suggestions.

First of all, your damage seems fine. The three people, who posted an Uber Elder kill in this thread, only had like 20% more damage than you. And you don't even have level 20 gems, yet.

But if you want more damage, the easiest way seems to be to get an Uberlab enchant on your boots. You have your resistances somewhat balanced fot Wise Oak and enchanted boots are still quite expensive. But you can easily enchant your own boots.
There are 16 different boot enchants and three that you want. So statistically you will need 6 uses of the Divine Font to get one of them. That means with the Twice Enchanted prophecy and Darkshrines 2-3 labruns should do the trick.


Also you can switch in Hypothermia or Slower Projectiles for Pierce in bossfights.

After reading the September posts in this thread, is there a consensus on the passive tree/support skill selection? After a few weeks with the new gems and nodes is the original post up to date or is there a more interesting direction to go?

Why there are no Skitterbots in this build? Aren't they better or simmilar to wrath?

You should use Wrath and Skitterbots.

Forgot to post my gear for Uber Kill

Anyone want to take a minute to help me with what I should upgrade gear wise? I have about 2ex to burn and I'm stuck at 75k Lightning Trap dps in PoB.
