Need to get POB update to export data from new contents system. Hopefully it's working soon so I can pull out Heist spectre info :D

Localidentity taught me how to add spectres to POB community, so if we can find good spectre in Heist, I can add them to offical spectre list.

The mod supports 'Raise Spectre' spell gem. So the spectre gets the +3% critical chance.

It's different to body armour mod.

Not sure.

GB now has increased damage taken. It's not a problem for normal mapping because of recovery when kill monsters. But it will be a big problem for boss fights.

Actually I was thinking of dropping GB from S&S because it's really bad for boss fights. No monster adds = no life recovery and then if you block, you take damage anyway!

For normal mapping, life sustain is good because of life recovery, so block without GB is enough. I think just need to add Rumi's to build and keep dual weild + Bone Offering. I can try to change tree to get more block passives.

For Base Build and Pure Spectres, I think it's still good if you have 5% life recovery on block.

LOL! i know what you mean about falling asleep. this game kind of does that for me. but tbh i like that. its not mindless but it can be very relaxing after a hard day with the kids or at work.

I see they nerfed this build hard. I am going to still go with it tho. I think with the old build it was about 157mil max dps with the best gear. even if they cut half of that dps its still enough for everything in the game. my concern is, i dont like dying. so my question is, will the survivability still be as good? I know map clearing will be great still, but if things die slower will this build be as defensive?

other than that ill always remain a summoner. there is so many different play styles from zombies, skeles, specters golems, AG, Phantasms ....the game play is slowing down a bit. i dont mind that at all. again, i think a more balanced defensive/offensive playstyle should be looked into.

a zombie build can still work with AG/golem set up. with the new curses the longer the fight the more damage a casted curse will do. i was allready looking into zombie + curse anyways. your build got hit really hard but tbh i think its still viable and one of the top builds. switching out some damage gems like the skitter bots for more defensive for boss fights with casted curses may be a decent idea. even double casted curse for boss fights.

plus i have no doubt other specters are still viable. some very good ones yet to be used

I checked a lot of builds for the new league and when i decided for minions they nerf it, whyyyy? :_( is it still viable?
Any ideas on a pure phys ranged spectre?

i am considering an impale build now, since the nerf hits a bit too hard. A lot less block from offering, a lot more dmg taken from glancing (i think it's not viable anymore, stacking normal block would be better) and we still don't know how hard vengeful will be nerfed (but i guess changing to 6 passives aura clusters will give the dmg back, this will come at a cost tho, as you will have to take points from somewhere to put in the cluster)
They kind of nerfed every aspect of redemption sentries which kind of sucks. But depending on the numbers, crit RS spectres should still be fine imo. The biggest issue will be getting perfect cluster jewels.

I wonder if it's even worth going cluster jewels now with the nerf to vicious bite, precise commander, and vengeful commander.
this game is officially for no-lifer people.

Need to see new numbers on Vengeful Commander... I hope it doesn't become totally useless. But actually if we change to stacking renewal, it's actually easier/cheaper to craft. So it's not totally bad. We can even use mechanic like blessed rebirth + phantasms to get a lot of sustain.

Only very high-end build was based around crit scaling. It was very expensive, so I didn't make my guide for that. So the nerf doesn't hurt so much.

And to be honest, I didn't use Redemption Sentry at all in 3.11... the slow attack speed feels terrible.

Yeah I had planned on only swapping to RS after getting Unending Hunger, without that, SD is faster in mapping.
