Hello guys, I am tryin my first summoner build (by this guide) and I chose Pure Spectre option. Currently my build look like this:



Now I still have around 35ex which I can invest to this build. What should be the most effective way to spend my currency?

Of course I know, that I still got some things to improve
- helmet enchant
- gems (21 / awakened)
- gloves enchant
- boots enchant
- hillock 28% armor qual

But when I compare my current POB build with Kay's POB, I am still in ~50% of the expected dmg (with the same adjustment) -> I don't know if it could be that Kay using different Cluster jewell sets in POB or ...

I am also thinking about belt swap (for The Torrent's Reclamation) or helmet swap (but these helmets are pretty expensive) or maybe shield swap?. But I am not sure, if this is good choice rn.

Your gear looks pretty good! I think everything is correct. Maybe you missed a configuration in POB? 50% sounds like it's just tick 'minions have frenzy charges'.

Oh. You have GMP socketed. This is for mapping and GMP actually reduced damage a lot. For bossing, swap Ele Focus, you will get the big damage numbers. Did you try that?

The next level is going for 'mirror helmet' and 2/2 shield which is quite expensive. I think helmet is 35ex+ and shield 15ex+. You need to change the passive tree to get Necro Aegis as well. I don't build for this because it's too expensive for me too :(

Any nerf for this build on next league?

I played S&S almost all league. It has better sustain and clear speed for similar cost. Bossing is a bit weaker but you can kill Mino in 2-3s instead of 1-2s for example.

Waiting for patch notes for any nerf news. Hope nothing too bad. But GGG has nerfed spectres in 3.8, 3.9, 3.10, 3.11. So expect a nerf :P

Nice wand! Unfortunately, I didn't craft any wands this league. I just used a 5c temple wand and put trigger and that's it :D

Thread's a bit quiet now, so I don't think any crafters will reply now :(

Hm. Actually we don't know until datamining.

In 3.7 GGG stealth nerfed Cannibal Fire-Eater. It was a huge nerf that we didn't know about until a few weeks into league and people felt damage was very low compared to 3.6! Slave Driver was found because we needed a replacement.

Maybe GGG will do the same to spectre which are 'too strong'. Also, many spectres have two damage values. Monsters and spectre.

Great guide you've got! I've been doing some leveling practice and I'm interested in hearing your thoughts on a few things.

1. Dominus at the end of Act 3 seems to destroy my spectres (fire-eaters). I've had the most success if I'm lucky enough to get zombies into my SRS links by then, but I have't done a run where my spectres live through Dominus.

2. Do you keep using fire-eaters until Cruel lab? Or do you switch to slave drivers in Act 5?

I noticed that some people have problem with Dominus and some people don't. I will try to help this in the new levelling video guides! I will include recording of boss fights so people can see how I do it. I've already started working on them, but I will wait for patch notes in case there are any big changes.

I changed the levelling to fire base for 3.11, but 3.12 guide will go back to the previous levelling and use Slave Driver. I realised people are more comfortable with SD for early mapping. It's easier to switch at level 5 and then go straight to mapping.

Hi Kay! Thanks for amazing guide, I love RS Pure spectre version a lot and find it well rounded for most content. Though i'd like to ask you are there any tweaks for red blighted maps?

Hello - thank you for this write-up, I just started POE a couple weeks ago and this build has been a lot of fun.

I have a couple super newb questions - I'm using the Spectre + Spiders set-up.

Under Equipment, for both helmet and armour, what gems should I be putting in those? I'm struggling to figure out what to use because the gems shown in the equipment under this section are different than the Gem Checklist under the Leveling Guide section.

I also notice you have the Armageddon Brand gem in both the unset ring and gloves - is this intentional?
