Thanks Kay for your guides, spectre showcases and other info (like spectre bank!).

After many years, finally got back to the game and just killed A4 Sirus, which is a huge thing for me as I'm super casual and didn't play since after beta basically.

I started the league using Wrecker of Days slow mo zombies since it's totally for noobs (very defensive) and works with 0 budget.
Switched to your DPS spectre build by mid yellow maps but due to low budget (and me sucking) it didn't work, switched to S&S v1, then v2 and now I made a hybrid S&S v2 with some DPS build elements (as single target damage was lacking, for me).

As I'm really bad and casual these boot links have been saving my life quite a bit, I wouldn't be lvl 94 without them! So if you suck like me, try it!


I really love Brush with Death as 95% of the time flasks are not needed (for my level of play...)
Enduring composture (+charge passives) with my def boots gives me a huge layer of defenses
I've been using anatomical knowledge for some extra HP and watchers eye for phase. Sadly for phase to work due to the double auras had to invest 3 pts to get sovereignty (which means only have 1 med cluster filled atm).

With crit focused clusters I've been using vicious proj with sentries all the time, only gem I switch is GPM > Ele Focus for bosses. Mapping speed is kinda the same as when using pierce / chain or w/e ppl say should be used.

My total net worth is probably like 8ex so I'll try working on some easier goals now, like getting a better secondary set of gear for bossing.
Probably gonna get some awakened gems as well.

Leveling is really really hard atm, so I doubt I'll manage to fill another vengeful/precise med cluster. Maybe I'll keep playing in standard for a bit to try and get the elders.

Main things I've learned going through all this (maybe useful for other noobs like me, it's all in the guide/pages but still):
-Keep using convocation at each pack to trigger enduring bond
-Do a 4S def setup if you die too much
-Put steelskin on mouse 1 and keep moving all the time
-You can use desecrate to trigger spiders, no need to use arma brand
-Holy flame totem triggers EE for bosses (you can do without arma brand)
-Remember to use deathmark on bosses!
-Pflame / holy flame regen is really useful as a regen source for some bosses due to lack of flask refills
-Use aug crit craft to add precise commander to jewels, usually it's cheaper than buying the jewel with all skills you need.
-Delve is a great source of exp so if you are almost leveling up and have some conquerors to kill (you'll probably die!) spend all your juice to level before losing your exp!

i wish jewels where viable to use, seem every build is now impossiable to do becuase cluster jewel prices now.

No, didn't work. I think there is no attack tag on the crafting, only I can see as an option is MINION SPEED, which would remove the suffix of minion attack speed.....problem being that I think it's really rare remove speed right?

Any way to “fix” this??? Aghhhh!! Anyway to auto cast or how to manually best cast the wand skills while I farm enough currency/seeds to try and remove speed? Any advice appreciated

Just manually cast desecrate, then bone offering. No other way besides removing multimod and recrafting again.

It's not as good, but you can try cwdt + desecrate + bone offering

Thanks Kay! Yeap had to refract, luckily found someone selling remove speed so manage to empty the suffix and craft the trigger sockets spells, and now it’s usable now. If it were not for harvest it would be ruined, don’t know why they don’t keep Harvest core or at least some part of it.

6-link helmet for RK/RS

Hi folks,

does anyone know if there is a specific requirement for
the Elder or Shaper "other" helmet as described in the guide?

e.g. specific helmet base like Royal Burgonet and item level e.g. level i86

I saw someone tell about cost to craft helmet after post this.


I decided to craft different one to calculate cost. I crafted this one, maybe at mirror tier.



This cost me:
8 ex buy base with enchant with both influence.
2 Essence of horror to craft useful suffix.
5 ex to roll +3 minion by reforge keep suffix.
5 ex to roll level 20 minion damage.
below 100 chaos to roll level 20 hypo and + 3 spell chance.
Now, I have to remove/add defence to complete this helmet.

Total 20 ex.

You're so lucky man. I wish I had that luck. Temporarily I settled with this subpar one :(


btw, what's you guys' mapping setup? I'm testing to max my speed by using wither step to have elusive always on (~30-40 speed), flesh offering (24% speed) and it's surprising okay as nothing lives in face of my spectres anyway lol

I dont have enough luxury to switch to the Harbinger belt but I guess it would be even faster?

Edit: Fck it, league is ending anyway, I switched to the Torrent belt and it feels sooooo great. The only downside is that I need to use Commander of Darkness again, lazy to upgrade res gears...
