How do I decide between crit and non-crit cluster jewel setup? I assumed crit is better and spent a small fortune crafting a large + 2 mediums, but my final crit effect mod is like 8%. And changing the 2-cluster PoB to crit jewels doesn't really change DpS at all.

Also, what's the point of Overshock? Does it improve Skitterbots' shock aura? PoB shows it has no effect on DpS (or anything at all).

Three easy things:

1. Use Mistress of Sacrifice + Bone Offering (trigger)
2. Use Rare shield with life recovery
3. Glancing Blows

Shield is easy to craft with reforge life.

Forgot to thank you for the reply, going Mistress with Bone offering and Glancing blows really helped quite a bit.

Love your enthusiasm in your videos and how detailed they are. One of the best builds i have tried in any league so far, with the Harvest crafting i have been able to make some good gear for Spextres without having to spend tons of Exalts. Did also help a little that i hit 40% Spextre damage on my last lab run before mapping :)

I'm playing specters-spiders build, but I'm reeeallly confused on how you start spawning the spiders first time.

In your guide you say "Arma Brand" after the specters freeze the mobs. What is the skill? Is it the totem or the curse? or none of them?

After a mob is completely frozen you can just desecrate them. They should die and then spawn spiders. In V2 of her build she uses a trigger scepter to get Blade Vortex on your character the BV can also be used to kill the frozen mob and will also spawn spiders. Basically any way you can kill the spiders without igniting them will trigger the raise spiders skill

Gosh, the question was inbetwen Hubris and Bone. It's obvious that any helmet WITH enchant is more expensive than without -.-' And will provide more dps...

But you cannont compare one with enchant, and 2nd without enchant, as this is not fair comparison...

How can i get my block chance higher? Im using V2 of Spectres and spiders with glancing blows but it only takes my atk block to around 30% and spell block to like 16% not sure how to get this higher. Bone offering only effects minions.

Hey everyone :) Firstly, thanks Kay for the time to create this build guide (both the forum post and the videos). I have been looking at this build as I wanted to convert my summoner. I am looking at the spectre+spider variant. I have a Triad Grip glove with 4 white sockets that convert 100% of minion physical damage to chaos and I would like to use it. Question is what would be the best spectre to use with it? From what I read all the recommended spectres do at least part of their damage as elemental. Not sure if this type of damage gets converted (based on the glove description, I assume not since it only converts physical damage). If elemental damage is not converted to chaos, by the gloves, is there any other good spectre that deals pure physical? Or just a good spectre that can work very well with the gloves?

EDIT: Looking through the comments on the video guide (https://youtu.be/1FysRA2C8Lc) found that Arena Masters are pure physical spectres that should work with 4W Triad Grip.

You need the Mistress Of Sacrifice Ascension Point to make bone offering effect you in the new version of the build.
