[3.9] Pure Phys Skeletons & Friends Necromancer — Beginner/SSF/Budget Build

Thanks for the build. I altered it slightly by dropping MoM altogether, adding in more life, and picking up 2 jewel nodes. At 6k life with tabula, 500 ES, and a mix of evasion, dodge, and block

Also reserving mana for flesh and stone, pride aura, and war banner. Wondering if this is the best route to take to squeeze out more damage.
For the gear, do you recommend Armor + Energy Shield or Just + Energy Shield with no armor. In your gear examples I see a mix but I'm curious what end game gear I should be looking for
Any ideas on how to scale this build past the 5-6 million shaper DPS that you can reach with Ruthless?

I replaced a ring with essence worm to run pride aura because I had way too much resistance. I also tried out double abyss socket belt just because I had nothing better to use, but the flat + physical turned out really underwhelming because of the relatively high base damage on skeletons.

It's not that DPS is is any way feeling bad in t15/16 maps, however some metamorph bosses with boss mods on can take some time, especially if big AoE kills the vaal army(some AoEs seem quite absurd atm, while others barely do damage).



I'm thinking of swapping out the 2 wands for a 6-linked 2 hander with +1 sockets and (what's even available on summoner 2hands now?) and swapping the skeletons to the weapon and then using 6 link dps zombies in chest. That would leave me with 24 minions but without any spectres as I would drop that link. No idea if it's worth it though, it's definitely more damage question is how much.

To round off I want to say it's been an excellent league starter, never have I had such an easy time getting progress early :) just hoping this build can scale to the end, but I seem to have some sustain issues on bosses without adds for potion charges (specifically thinking about the new main boss)

I'm sure that is better. His tiers were just examples of gear progression. This build was also written from a SSF perspective.
Pretty crazy build that I'm enjoying a lot so far. Tearing through high red tiers easily.

Definitely working toward getting as much survivability for the minions as possible with how rippy a lot of the metamorph fights are for minions. Generally at this point I don't have too much of a problem with zombies/carrion/spectres dying and I still have yet to hit lvl 20 on the gems after cycling them for quality, so looking forward to getting some 21s and not having to think about it outside of probably awakener and such.

It's pretty insane how easy reds were even with gear I hadn't touched since initially hitting maps and spending a couple chaos to get res capped though. Threw on a tabula and was off to the races. Finally decided to buy real gear a bit before 90 and have been loving life since.

Just a heads up for anyone who isn't aware you can get a fairly nutty convoking wand with fossil crafting for not that much investment, especially if you get lucky. I got unlucky and it took four tries for my first +2 wand, but considering the price it would be to buy it straight out, it's well worth the investment. https://www.reddit.com/r/pathofexile/comments/dcdlxl/crafting_2_to_minion_gems_wand/

Ended up about 2 exalts worth of crafting for a 7+ exalt weapon. (you could also easily farm a lot of the required stuff in delve. I just didn't feel like bothering) Felt worth it enough to just roll over a wand that only got one of the +1 rolls, but in hindsight I definitely should have just bought another fucking wand to craft on instead LUL

I've had zero issue keeping up frenzy or power with 2x carnage 1x host. I'm considering trying to find something else to run with them and just do 1 of each and seeing how that goes.

Unless you use Victario's Clarity to get those charges there isn't anything better unfortunately.

Also anyone curious I min/maxed the hell out of this last league, went full life (8k life) and with very expensive gear, take a look if you wish iCyberPunk is the character name.

Skeletons had about 900k-1M DPS each.
Thanks for the build it's my first summoner and i'm having a LOT of fun with it. Quick question about those 2 carrion golem : so people on previous post suggested using animate guardian as second golem because carrion's buff doesn't stack from what i can understand .. So anybody got the final answer on that ?
Killed Awakener deathless with awakening level 6 (dont know if that has any impact).
