Okay So I'm look at your character in PoB here are your stats.

With the configuration set up right you have
HP:5,866
Energy Shield:510
Mana Unreservered 451
Skeleton DPS 550,479.5 (this is per skeleton note. so you are good here. You have more than me.)

Now what can you do to increase survivability. Not much really unfortunately.

You can't go Mind Over Matter. To do this you would have to Drop Pride respec at minimum 10 to 15 points and also have to get some maximum mana rolls on gear for it to work.

The other option I see is to get a Glorious Vanity Jewel that has Doryani in it it will say something like "Bathed in the blood of # sacrificed in the name of Doryani"

What this will do (incase you don't know) is i when you socket it into the passive tree it will change the nods in a radius around it. You will want to get one of the nodes I list below it will change it to a node called Corrupted Soul. What this does is give you 20% of your Maximum Life as Energy Shield which is a great amount. Your Energy Shield will go from 510 to 1,976. Which is a great increase in survivability.

The're 2 places that you can socket it. There is a socket above Resolute Technique. You placing it there will cost you 7 skill points that you would have to respec or level for.

The second place to put it is over next to Pain Attunement. Placing it there will cost you 6 Skill points so is really the better option.

Now you may ask what to respec points from and here is where you're going to have to spend some currency if you want the easy way. Go and buy the oils you need to put Ravenous Horde on your amulet.

What Oils you need for that are 1 Verdant Oil and 2 Opalescent Oil.

With that you should also have more skill points to put elsewhere.

So this is really the only really viable way that I can see to increase your survivability. Maybe someone will have more for you but this is what I see.

Hi guys. I've lurked this thread and started my 1st char in metamorph after xmas. I want to say thanks to @Viperesque and everyone else who expanded this guide; i'm just a noob but messin around with impale, triple offerings and AG is rly funny!
I've been very lucky with gems drops/corrupt and currently sits at 1mill dps per skelly. Since i started late in the league, i feel a bit currency starved; banked like 12ex total, spent 8 on +2wand (without autotrigger :c ), rest of gear is ssf/sub80c.
Farmed Syrus A8 4/5 times (conquerors spawn s***!!) and 4-way timeless domain (them poor drops!!); currently lookin for delve past 400, uber elder and breaches. I'm posting to say thx to everyone and to testify the efficacy of this build even with moderate effort/game knowledge: all Bosses i tried feel on ez mode since u can fully concentrate on positioning, poor necro dyes a lot only coz i play rly carelessly in maps and juyce them metamorphs without even readin description.

triple offerings is rly nice for sustain and smoothness, but it's not cheap at the moment and i've experimented only with low level gear.

I like to be tanky, so i'm sticking with 13 skellies with dread banner, 11 zombies, 2 carrion golems, 3spectres (1host/2carnage); 78% all resistances and put more life in the chest AND using MoM for 10k eHP, manually cast desecrate, flesh off and spirit offering for 2k ES when needed (not optimal since most oneshots are out of the blue).
got a Kingmaker (lucky Soul Taker drop) and so im starting to experiment with AG socketed with zombies-meatshield-minionlife: with Zahndetusk and Springleaf it's 70k HP and 3.5 to 7k regen but it still dies to nasty metamorphs, so i'm waiting to afford Mask of Stitched Demon to put KM in. AG tooltip is not noob friendly and it's very hard to find useful interactions. So far i slapped Victario's Flight in and feels good, Southbound for %life, Skullhead and a random dagger with minion affixes. in POB i put AG setup in another weapon set, dunno if it's the right way coz its not showing right stats.
Hope this wall of text can help some lazy mf exiles out there!

So i created this. Its not the dream item I was aiming for but its pretty good with +3, tier 1 life, enemy take extra phys and skele enchant. How good would you guys say iit is ... and should I keep rerolling it or am I crazy enough to annul to try for the 50% to get craftable extea skele/zombie or minion life.

Considering the value of your base (one of the two best for skellies along with the flesh offering one)...you pretty much want the "perfect" helm for your build. If you have the currency for fossils, I would annul. If not, keep it as is until you have a few spare exalts.

For me, I wanted +3, minion life (to keep AG alive), open prefix (for skellie/zom), and the -9 (cold for me, phys for you). Anything else was just not acceptable, considering how much my base cost:


I don't think it's too hard to roll with bound/jaggeds. I had rolled two more earlier in the league before deciding they weren't good enough either based on element (switched from lightning to cold) or enchant (decent, but not as good as the current one, even though that helm is better).



Fun fact: funny enough: the 150% carrion golems buff effect helm enchant is actually the third best helm enchant after skellies/flesh offering.

OH I know hot much the base costs XD... and its a good helm. The ideal one would be with open prefix for skele/zomb (or at least minion dmg) and minion life suffix from warlord. If you value the life enough, then maybe not I guess. I figured I had enough life from other sources (I'm over 6k anyways) that it wasn't worth keeping - must've failed two annuls in the crafting of these three helms...which meant I had to re-fossil craft them from scratch.
