[3.9] Pure Phys Skeletons & Friends Necromancer — Beginner/SSF/Budget Build

Hi, has anyone else experienced that around T15 the golems are just dying?
I am at level 92 now with a few ex in the equip, but the golems just die. I have 2 wands with +1 on minions and +3 in the helmet. Maybe someone can help me out on what to do now to run the maps better, my damage seems fine and the other minions have no problems with dying to hits.

Here is my PoB if you want: https://pastebin.com/VT3K5XCK

Probably a really silly question but why when I hover over "melee splash support" for sale from Nessa does it have an X next to Summon Skeletons in the active skills box
Both raise spectre and raise zombie both have ticks.
I would assume this would mean it does work with this skill?

Seems to work for me?

It works with them.

When you socket the melee splash you can see the skeletons attack just make a ring around the target.

Also when I have impale support , they really tend to suck in blighted maps. This is why I got a 20/20 melee splash to clear everything quick
Never invite Vorana, Last To Fall at a beer party.

Can't say I've had that happen to me. I mean sure they die from time to time but it's not a constant issue. It could be that your damage isn't quite there yet on the rest of the build to kill dangerous creatures before they run out of life?

You could always swap out Brutality for Minion Life if you'd like them to have more survivability as they do negligible damage anyways.

Another tip after looking at your passive tree, you should path to the right of Witch start and grab the jewel socket there and use the Pain Attunement keystone for your Corrupted Soul Doryani gem. It saves 1 passive point that you can slot elsewhere. It takes 7 for where you are now and 6 for that one.

Thank you, i have changed the jewel socket how you described and put a minion life gem into the link. I believe it is better now.
Prior to the final tree under POB where TF is all the life coming from. I don't understand. I'm almost level 80 with barely 4k life lol.
My gear 1,2M DPS.

Life: 6040
Mana: 1956 (528 reserved Aspect of The Spider help alot)

Thanks for the build. :D!

Update Boys!

I did it! I managed to kill my AG! :D
All it takes is a Hall of the Grandmasters map.
Boy you guys made the Kingmakers more expensive since the beginning of the week when we started to discuss it...

I've been thinking about using AG.

What would be the ideal setup?

Here's your options:

Weapon: Kingmaker or Dying Breath
Helmet: Leer Cast
Armor: Belly of the Beast
Gloves: Southbound or Meginords
Boots: Victario's Flight

With the above setup they're basically unkillable to begin with. If you want to invest more currency and insure that they REALLY never die here's another setup:

Weapon: Kingmaker
Helmet: Mask of the Stitched Demon
Armor: Increased Max Life chest with "10% of Maximum Life as Extra Maximum Energy Shield" crafted on
Gloves: Southbound
Boots: Victario's Flight

I explained the interaction of the chest piece and Mask of the Stitched Demon a few pages back, but basically it gives the Guardian around 100k HP and about 25k life regen per second.

So yeah, either go with the first setup and your AG will never die unless you're a retard like me and bring it to the Hall of the Grandmasters, or use second setup for pure currency splurging, but it will still die in that stupid map. :)

getting one shot

One thing to note is that when you rush ahead (quicksilver/flame dash/shield charge) your AG takes a second or two to catch up to you. During that time you lose his Fortify. So you're not as tanky as if you had Fortify linked to Shield Charge. For me my main sources of one shot are still Strongboxes lol. This build is making me careless.

Honestly you just have to really max out life rolls on gear. That's where it all comes from in the end.
