[3.9] Pure Phys Skeletons & Friends Necromancer — Beginner/SSF/Budget Build
Do we need 2nd golem? I mean is it some kind of major improvement or i can skip it to get some points for stun immune?
And how do u guys sustain mana? Except flask Last edited by ShaeonanraLongNeck#3268 on Jan 5, 2020, 12:42:07 PM

" Yeah I keep it at lvl 12 due to my current dex. Honestly it's just there for utility like the entirety of the golems so I don't see a reason to level it up. " Funnily enough the reason to get those nodes is pretty separate from the golems themselves. It's the increased golem buff effect those nodes give that actually is more beneficial. That said if you would feel more comfortable with some stun immunity then go for that. There's really nothing wrong inherently with running one Carrion. Mana sustain is either via the Flask or via the large amount of mana regen we get on the tree. I've never had a mana issue. Last edited by Solanales#2058 on Jan 5, 2020, 12:58:39 PM

" On bosses the zombies are not going to do much dps anyway, so replacing Brutality by Culling strike is mostly for the insta kill at 10% life. The meager increased dmg from lvling up the gem is cool but not necessary, so yeah just lvl it up within Dex requirements limits. " No mana issues unless I'm losing life, then I pop mana flask. ~~~~ I have finished to assemble my new setup with 2x6L weapons, see below:

1.5m dps per skeleton on my staff, 430k on the sword in clear mode. Interestingly, with this setup when I press 'X' I still retain my skeletons (no need to resummon them) and I keep the same state of my Vaal skill in terms of souls and stuff, even though it's technically two different gems, not even of the same level. |

I have made some upgrades, and could use some advice on what to upgrade next. I am having no problem staying alive through t16, but sirus and minotaur ate me alive. Other than getting good and understanding their mechanics better, any obvious gear holes you guys see? Gems will all be 20 soon and that will help. Thanks. |

" Chaos Resistence. I know the old school of thought was to just leave it at -60 and move on. It's good to have ti at least positive now. Sirus converts much of his damage to Chaos and the Hunter Conqueror does a lot of chaos as well. Same with some random metamorphs. Oberall Chaos is more present than ever and I've started gearing for it. I haven't capped it on this character, but getting it positive helps a lot. I run with 55% currently. |

Anyone try Fortress Convenant Jewel? It's like 36% increased minion damage and if I tuck it away somewhere I don't get the negative effects of extra minion damage taken. I put mine below the health nodes on the left side, cost 6 points to get. Worth it?

Is the baron usefull with 1k strenght?
2% ll from the zombies are nice. And to optain 1k strength isn´t so hard. |
|
" That seems VERY interesting. Didn't think it was possible to maintain such a high damage without wands. How does cyclone feel like? Is Spirit offering up all the time? Switching between boss and map clear must be nice! And stun immunity with Cyclone too. I see some insane minion speed on the Sword - does that make a difference on map clear? Also, all your gems are not even max, so there can be further improvements. |
