Hey guys i've been running the build with impale, dread banner and vulnerability and i had an idea today i ditched flesh offering and keep spirit offering up (for the energy shield and the added chaos damage). I got rid of brutality to use spirit offering 32% extra chaos damage.

It looks like this : skellies - impale - melee physical - ruthless - minion damage - swap multi for boss and splash for maps.

I would like to know what you guys think about it! thanks

btw did it for survivabilty too 6800 hp + 1800 es with spirit offering up + MoM + bone armor!

Agreed on this. If you leave Spirit Offering on when you get a CWDT activation you barely lose any dps by replacing Brutality with Ruthless. And quite frankly on big bosses or tricky situations where the dps imports the most, it is also when I don't want to cancel my energy shield from Spirit Offering straight away to replace it by Flesh Offering.
I'm still hesitating on the best course of action:
- keeping current gem setup for the offerings and activating Flesh until Spirit gets triggered
- removing Flesh entirely but then only getting bonus dps when CWDT activates
- removing Flesh and replacing Spirit Offering by Steel Skin/Immortal Call/Whatever linked to CWDT+Enfeeble, and on boots replacing Flame Dash-Flesh Offering-Desecrate-Faster Casting by Cyclone-Cast when channeling-Spirit Offering-Desecrate. This way you get the max Energy Shield from Spirit Offering (you get more per corpses consumed, so after 2 ticks of Cyclone you're at max and recharging all the time, whereas if waiting from CWDT activation you often get the bare minimum from the ability). In this case I would have to move Flame dash somewhere else. Thinking removing CWDT entirely, giving up on Enfeeble (Enfeeble is already weak on rares/uniques, and on bosses even more with their curse resistance). This would free the slots for Flame Dash/Dread Banner-Generosity.

Wouldn't Cyclone require a melee weapon? I like the idea but giving up wands.. :(

I'd recommend you get a 21 lvl vaal skeleton gem first, doesn't need to have high quality

You could go for a non-bone helmet with a +40 to skeleton damage and +2 to minion gems. One level more doesn't matter much especially when it only adds to socketed gems. Obviously a bone helmet is better with same enchant but they are crazy expensive.

You guys are suggesting Impale and Culling but my question how do we maintain dex? I cant seems to have enough of it

And when you run Dread Banner, Generosity sup and Enhance sup where do we fit this in?

I got some gloves with lots of dex on it.

Not sure how other people do it but here is mine. I scrapped CWDT setup because I prefer to cast Spirit Offering myself. Also dropped Enhance for portal gem, since, according to POB, the gains are minor.

The only sad thing with this would be abandoning my Ahn's Heritage shield. I love the fucker. +100 life, 1400 armor (great in a setup where we don't have that much armor otherwise), 29% block, +3% all max resist (even chaos!). Shield Charge for ultimate mobility (on open areas, in dungeons it gets awkwardly stuck on any corner or pebble)...

Which gems are you skipping when running Shield charge? Would love some more mobility and benefits of Ahn's Heritage, but don't like to loose spectres as suggested in the build guide. Or are you somehow able to fit spectres in as well. And are you running a shield charge, fortify and faster attacks setup as suggested in the build guide? Thanks for you inputs!!

With my shield I was indeed using the Shield Charge-Fortify-Faster Attack setup, giving up on Spectres altogether. Sirus was going down fast enough frankly, even without spectres.

What minor Pantheon is everyone using this season? Gruthkul seems meh atm

Shakari. The hunter conqueror and his minions are a good enough reason lol. So much poison this league. Also hate caustic ground maps, so that helps.

It does, so you either give up on a wand to get I-have-no-idea-what in right hand, and make the choice that losing the added damage from the wand is fine for the Spirit Offering infinity goodness, or you switch to a 2hander, like staff.
Tying up to the rest of my post, I'm building a 2h weapons 6L setup where the spectres, flame dash and dread banner-generosity are on my chest, and putting the 6L Skelly on weapon. One weapon with Skelly-Minion dmg-Melee phys dmg-Impale-Feeding Frenzy-Melee Splash (preferably a Queen's escape for great clearing speed), and one staff with Skelly-Minion dmg-Melee phys dmg-Impale-Ruthless-Multistrike. So I clear the map with my Queen's escape at great speed (although now that's without shield charge sadly, so I have to spam Flame Dash and quicksilver potion more), and as soon as there's a tricky situation or boss just press 'X' to switch to the stronger staff setup (the staff ideally having a bunch of minions mods, it's not cheap though).

Also for the people talking about ditching Vaal summon skelly for normal Skellys, for me one situation where it makes a big difference is when clicking on a Legion pylon. Struggling to shatter all the mobs before time runs out otherwise if I don't have my big army.

I've been trying the impale build and its working wonders. I've been wondering if there's a reason we are keeping culling strike at a low level?

Only because of dex requirements I think - level 20 Culling strike needs 111 dex. So if you got it, level it by all means.
