Question on crafting a Hunter amulet: In POEDB, the hunter mods we want don't have a chaos flag beside them. Does this mean chaos spam is more cost effective than aberrant fossils + resonators? Or that there is an error on POEDB?

I have spent 82 fossils and never seen either of the + gem levels mods we want.

Though I`m only in process of dps scaling (slow player and don`t have much time to farm a lot), but I played a little in POB and using two jewels Thread of Hope can boost damage a lot. In price of 300 HP did +300k dps just on jewels.

1 jewel (medium ring):
Disciple of the Slaughter
Fury bolts
Disciple of the Unyielding
Bravery + 10% increased maximum life

2 Jewel (large ring):
Master Fletcher
King of the Hill
Aspect of The Eagle

I still don't see the point of doing this. Endurance and Frenzy charge is awesome but you can get both of them later on your crafted gear. It's especially true for frenzies (gloves don't have many good prefixes). You could also socket Lethal Pride (Karui Legion jewel) and get tons of defensive benefits from nearby nodes, including charge generation.

If you want more damage, how about increasing your gem level instead like the guide tells you to?

No fossil interacts with +1 to active gem level mods on amulet. Chaos DoT Multiplier still does and that's what the fossil is for. For much higher chance of rolling it and extra 20-30% increased chaos damage prefix. Once you get lucky and roll +1 gem level mods, you have high chance for the amulet to be decent. Keep in mind that +1 gem level mods are very rare.

hi, my question is about Withering Step. Me use it instead dash in map? Or use only in fight with bosses? Or dash is only used in leveling? Thanks

Is there a way I can guarantee-craft a +1 on one of them? I have an annulment orb, and 3 exalts. I particularly want to use the high AS bow.

Btw, I've managed to get a Silverbrough and it's been holding up really well in the endgame so far.

I've explained multiple time - i believe Withering Step is pointless except for CWDT setup. Dash is not used after levelling.

No. Your bows are not 6-linked and have 5/6 affixes total. It's a waste of resources to attempt anything. You should use fossils until you get lucky or buy a ready bow instead.

How much DPS should I have with Caustic Arrow ? I'm at level 94 and I can map very very fast and don't die often but I have a lot of problem with single target (can't kill the shaper for exemple).

POB tell me 340k in combat and I can see that in the POB link of the first page you have 458k.

Does 100k can make all the difference ?

Or maybe my stuff is not the great ? (https://www.pathofexile.com/account/view-profile/nohaj_/characters).

They are not "very expensive" at least not for this build. I paid 50c for void manipulation, 80c for vicious projectiles and 110c for swift affliction and that was one week ago around.

It's not something you should rush when you have other big upgrades to buy (for example I paid less for enlighten 3 and ca 21 than awakened gems), but they're nowhere near their entry price "multiple exalts per 1", there are few that are very expensive like the curse on hit but it's not required for this build.

If you want to buy them fully levelled, that will probably cost you, but basic ones are a decent option after you have mid-tier character and your other upgrades are costing exalts.

Also if you buy awakened swift affliction it's worth burning 20 gcp for that +10% multi from quality.

So yeah, I wouldn't buy them if you're starting up, defo prio 21 ca and +2 bow 6-link as they're really cheap (6-links seem to be raining this season and divines prices are super low so it doesn't drive it up) and also armor with decent amount of defensives / life.

But after that I think the price isn't very prohibitive anymore and they're direct upgrades from lvl 20 normal supports.
