Alright, well I have another question. This build converts Phys damage to cold so Physical is prefered over Ele. Would if be worth to get WED on a belt in that case? Cheers.

If you can get phys dmg or WED on belt, great. But HP and resists are far more important. Getting a belt with phys dmg and/or WED, high HP, and overcapping resists is not cheap. Adding Fortify chance to the mix is even more.

I would focus on your links and chest armor before further optimizing your belt.

Alright, cheers. And yeah I have a rare chest piece ready to repalce my Tabula, just waiting to link it. I have a nice belt I can put WED on with some decent res and hp too so was just wondering. Cheers.

You are trying to link a rare armor? I would highly discourage that unless it is some crazy modded armor. You can get corrupted 6-link armors with 90+ HP for 12-15 chaos. And non-corrupted 5-links go for 1 chaos.

Wtf op.. you seem knowledgable but you purposefully ignore to select cyclone skill when showing your offence and defence tabs. So that we dont see your dps.

Real nice.. how can you overlook first-priority stuff like that.

Now because of that im thinking if my dps is low or how should i select my gems properly because of that.
Lots of gem choices.. seems nice, i wonder about elem. prolif.. it sounds nice but we only have 6link at best :(

Not sure if sarcastic or not buuuuuuuuuuut...

I'm assuming you mean the screen shots from doing labs while leveling? The only reason I had it open at all was to show level and HP. If you are actually serious about that then I will make sure to have cyclone selected in the future.

I linked every piece of gear that I had at the time of those screenshots if those are the screenshots you mean. So you can see what I had and compare it to yours. I don't even see you having a ranger character so I cannot tell you if you're doing good or not.

There are always a lot of support choices for builds depending on what you like to do. Some to play one way, some another. All up to personal preference. Using Ele prolif in a 6link is for a very safe mapping but lower damage.

Im slayer cycloner. And Im only on 5link. I like the concept!

So I just threw grimm gloves and gems but was unable to chill bosses or mobs. I think 5link isnt very viable. Damage was less than physical build I used.

Probably my gems werent good enough. I also havent used the gems for max freeze.. just cyclone+ hypothermia+ melee physical+ maim+ elemen. dmg with attacks.

Also I forgot to use frostbite. and didnt had taste of hate..

I think I will keep this in mind when I get 6link, which I dont plan thought..
This build might be very interesting as league starter (so I commit using it).

What your thoughts on elemen. proliferation? Does chill would really cover lots of mobs?
Whats minimum dps to really chill with flasks up? T10 maps.
Whats minimum dps to chill all bosses up to 10. or up to t13 maps.

If you're doing slayer you can look at my league slayer Dizzy__AF to see what gems/passive/items I am using on slayer. Lightpoachers I swapped Devoto's for because... well... it's pretty over powered! :D

Devoto's is just fine though.

Looking at your league slayer you are following Ahfacks crimson cyclone passive tree and not mine. So yes your damage is probably shit and you are not Freezing/chilling things. Especially without using frostbite. Taste of hate is a 'nice thing to have' not a necessary item for the build. I haven't bought one in league and both my ranger/slayer are doing perfectly fine.

The gems don't matter if you aren't using the passive tree and frostbite. Yeah sure you'll probably get a decent amount of freezing using frostbite and hypo but your damage will be below subpar. You are missing out on 40% physical to cold and the fangs of frost cluster. My slayer passive tree isn't that much different than the one you are using and wouldn't cost that much to switch into if you felt like it. Also leveling a slayer with my build as a non league start took like.. a day with interruptions.

If you want to wait, I am going to be putting the Slayer version of this build guide up in the next few days and then you can just read it all for yourself!

6l is also not necessary. Just another thing you eventually get because why not. I leveled my slayer after my ranger and it was a breeze. Takes no time and if you feel you're already done with the Crimson Cyclone build doesn't hurt to fill the time trying something out.

Elemental prolif is spreading chill/freeze to everything by just hitting one guy in a pack. It's just for run if in cyclone setup and isn't the way I run cyclone but again it does work. It is a safer way to play as well. Ele prolif in totem setup is fantastic however and I probably will use it more often even after Abyss League ends.

As for dps, eh? I honestly don't have any clue what my actual PoB dmg is at the time I enter t10 maps. I used a kondo's on my ranger all the way upto t13 though. I think I was on t12 maps when I finally got the last trial for uber labs so this gear is what I was using at that time.

1) If the boss hits you yes. Bosses below t16 chill/freeze without it almost the entire fight. My slayer has had red tier elder guardians chilled/frozen for almost the entire time of all 3 phases. The issue with t16+ is they have so much hp and high elemental resistances. So it's takes a lot more to freeze/chill them.

I've done it in standard, even shaper was frozen/chilled for a good portion of the fight. In the end though I still go with Daresso's with Ele Focus+Conc over Pandemonius for the reasons stated in main guide under "Other Gear Options" and "Skill Gem" spoilers.

2) Daresso > Pandemonius >= Impresence. I haven't played around with Impresence but it doesn't seem like it would win out over Pandemonius and definitely not Daresso's. One thing to remember about conversion builds: The bigger the number before converting, the better. Daresso's buffs our physical damage on full life, which is 97% of the time. Pandemonius penetration is fantastic but for bosses using elemental focus is WAY more damage. So since you cannot chill with ele focus Pandemonius is out.

I noticed most of the suggestive gear you posted has crit multi's, but if we're using RT then what do you suppose our other option is? Or did you have a crit version of the tree in mind? Also, Razor's edge is the only source giving us bleed, correct?
