[3.x - Discontinued for now] Burning Spectres - Torch the Atlas - HC Shaper, Elder, Uber Atziri
I'm thinking of getting rid of zombies, they die pretty much instantly while everything else can survive in high level maps, besides I can use their socket to link empower with guardian. What do you think, are they necessary?
I´m using Solar Guards and I´m levelling the other 3 gems needed for TV setup in the offhand.
If neccessary , I´ll just switch the setup and summon the TV´s.
BUt the Solar Guards do enough dmg for now. I´ve done t14´s.

No, they are optional. Only give us + 8% dmg. reduction while they are alive and maybe some taunt chance ( if u use taunt gems ).

SGs do enough dmg for Guardians (and even Shaper). You only must have TVs vs Uber Atziri because SGs will die coz ele. reflection.
However I´d recommend TVs for faster Shaper runs too.

Just improved the last missing item - found a good ring with a socket, so that I can run my AG with lvl 4 empower - and now my gear is complete. Can do shaper completely deathless (including AG and Spectres) now.
Hello, I have been playing PoE for a number of years but during each league I get into the same rut. I follow a plan to just run shaped maps, get to around level 90, get bored and start a new character. I have never tried to kill any of the end-game bosses. My goal this league is to kill at least one (not sure who) and experience some of the end-game content. This time my mapping strategy has been just to run all the maps and not worry about concentrating on just a few shaped ones. I am currently at level 86 and working my way through the tier 11 maps with absolutely on issues.
For Spectres I have been running 2 x SG's from a 5-link chest and 2 x TV's from a sudo 6 link helmet. This combination has been working well for me and I am having no problems with the low level Red Maps or their bosses.
My first question is should I be using the Advancing Fortress or switch to the Scourge Claw? The claw would give me more damage, but I would lose some block, life and need to put Stone Golem somewhere else so I can add back in my fortify (currently running Stone Golem, Whirling Blades and Faster Attacks).
My second question has to do with Zombies and my AG. They share the same four link (AG, Zombies, Minion Life Support and level 3 empower). If I switch over to the claw I would probably replace the Zombies with my Stone Golem. But if I stick with my Advancing Fortress, is there something that I can use instead of Zombies that will help my AG? Or should I just stick with the Zombies (the only reason I want to get rid of them is that there is just to much stuff happening on my screen)?
My last question is what should I be looking at changing to get myself ready for some of the end-game content? Plus can someone give me hint on which end-game boss I should be concentrating on first?
Pick up a scourge. It's worth it, and with the rest of your gear I'll bet you are still at max block with your Rumis up. You can probably boost it a bit with a tempest shield gem if you can find the room.
You can safely drop your zombies - and probably your AG as well. Neither of them is going to survive very well in high tier maps anyway, and your spectres will still be able to handle any content even without them. I can normally only get my AG to survive guardians / shaper in a 4L +2 minion gems helm, and you are using your helm for spectres. Alternatively, I have put my AG in my shield so I can unsummon him with weapon swap if his life starts to drop.
As for end-game bosses... if I were to rank them in terms of difficulty, (for this build, anyway) I'd say Council, Breachlords, Guardians, Uber Atziri, Shaper, Hall of the Grandmasters.
I'd run them mostly in that order if you have the currency to buy the entrance fees. If not, just do them as they come up, with one exception - save Hall of the Grandmasters for when you are high level with no experience for sure, because that one is a level above anything else.

I switched to the scourge, dropped the Zombies and moved my AG to the weapon. I don't seem as tanky, but have not had any trouble using Rumis to help with my block when needed.
I did luck out and got a little cash to spend (5ex) and need to do some upgrades. I know that a 6-link Vis Mortis seems like the logical upgrade but I am not sure going from a 5 to 6 link gives me the best value for my money.
One thing that I was thinking about was getting an anvil with the added curse corruption. So an additional questions is if it is better to do dual-curse or add 'Controled Distruction' as my sixth link for my 'Solar Guards'? Things seem to die pretty quickly, so I am not sure if there is any benefit to the dual curse.
Any suggestions?

Spirit Eater and Commander of Darkness is better for maps untill end game bossing ? And can i respec into soul weaver later on or if i take them now its permanent ? sorry for the noob questions, still learning the game :)

Commander of Darkness is the best way to go. The only thing you get from Spirit Eater is the 30% minion damage, the other attributes do not affect minions. Commander of Darkness also gives you 30% at the cost of having to keep a level one clarity active plus the added resistances are a big help.

It is my understanding that it is important to get the skill 'Soul Weaver'. If you have both 'Spirit Eater' and 'Commander of Darkness' you will not have enough points to get 'Soul Weaver'. Also because of MoM, you don't want to reserve to much mana which is why most folks just use a level one Clarity.

Can you explain your golem setup? Are you playin' full TV? I was thinkin' of pull out the zombies and use my level 4 empower for boost my AG and go full spectres. And I get rid of some gems and I have a 4link free and I was thinkin' of your golem setup.
Also I changed arc + culling strike + curse on hit + enflebee to ball lightning + curse on hit + gmp + flammability (guess for benefit the fire spectres like TV or wicker man?) Will see how it goes.
