[3.x - Discontinued for now] Burning Spectres - Torch the Atlas - HC Shaper, Elder, Uber Atziri
I am at level 66 with this awesome and fun build but am struggling with understanding a few mechanics.
For some reason I am struggling to determine/understand how to slot and properly use flesh offering and bone offering. I have read through the thread and front page and am playing this build without ever using either one. help me understand the proper way to use those skills please. I play on the Xbox so I cannot show you the build to help give me advice. Thanks in advance! |

Need 25 dex and can't really change any gear. 30 dex node vs two abyss jewel suffixes? Those abyss jewel suffixes are juicy but so is a skill point.

" You are indeed got my point wrong. First of all, all i counted here was for golems in the first place, none of this was counted for spectres (or else i would count soul weaver 100% increase damage for spectres too, but obviously, it don't applied to flame golems). It's just the nature of calculation of DPS increase is different for clayshaper and scourge. Clayshaper don't give us increases in stats, just give us additional golems, it's equivalent to multiplicative modificator, so it's easy to calculate dps increase. 4/3=1.33. 133%, means 33% overall damage increase from flame golems as a group. In case of scourge, that modificator is additive, that's why i need to know estimated level of other additive modificators, but i remind you that those calculations still about flame golems and not anything else. My point about "if you forget about spectre existence", maybe i should have use different wording. "If we disregard spectres existence" would be more on point here, then yeah, clayshaper will be better than scourge for about 10%, which isn't even that much, but then we have a main point... And the main point is - we don't even need flame golems damage. Flame golems decimate white and blue packs anyway with their aoe, and it is their only purpose. The only thing when you need damage is the boss, and on boss you can disregard flame golems existence entirely, cause they are way WAY lower in damage if compared to our burning spectres. So now we get our conclusion, scourge not only buff ALL of ours minions (instead of only flame golem parts that don't even need this), but also not really that much worse even if we disregard our main damage dealers, which is burning spectres. |
