6L Vis Mortis has always been pricey, especially early league. Also, keep in mind that Exalts are only worth 41-42c at the moment.

Any opinions on flat minion damage on abyss jewels? Is it worth it or is it better to strive for % minion damage after using minion skill?

no, but there are jewels that have the same mod but for minions

burning spectres do not hit, well the wickerman does, and the vanguard sometimes does, but not your main source of DPS, but it can help with solar guards etc

%minion damage is better, but you can get jewels with both

skele mages can do the same thing on a budget, just need 3 jewels, and they can take a lot of aggro by planting 6 skeles per cast in front of you, and they block projectiles and have innate 20% block.

I like them, as the Spectres can lag behind and you drop down skele mages like totems, while you wait for your spectres, no need to convocate.
Plus they are great in uber lab to keep traps deactivated as they last a long time and don't move much

Volley works nice on them, and they can shoot way off screen.
Does enough DPS on a 4 link +2 minion helm for general AOE clear even in T15 maps

i ended up doing the same except i got the 4l in wyrmsign for cheap 5l while i try sort out my gems since i have animate guardian in the +2 helm right now. hoping to swap the golems into a +2 with minion damage once one comes up on market

Does anyone know if the increase burning damage from Ashcaller wand https://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Ashcaller works with TV and Wickerman ?

that mod wont affect minions
sorry for a nooby question as i just started leveling up a necro , but how do we know when the animate guardian is summoned as i have no tooltip on my buff bars or anything. i also have a crappy axe + armor in my bags incase that is a requirement but nothing shows

drop identified helm/body armour/weapons/gloves/boots on ground
while mousing over gear, use the animate guardian skill
it will consume the item, assuming the gem level is high enough to equip the gear
you should have a small icon in your buff bar when its active

yesteday play whith skelemages witch in party. they have anougth dmg for trash, but was useless on the abyss or bosses. they kill rare mobe some time, same mob my 2TV and 2WM +8 zombie + AG + SG kill in second.
