" It takes no more change to get 3 flame golems for clearing than 4 jewel sockets on the tree and 4 gem sockets in a psuedo 5/6/7 link helm. |

" Yes, minion damage applies to golems " ^ this is 100 percent correct, only the +2 helms I could buy at the time were too pricey. ideally you would run +2 helm with level 3 empower + minion damage " as mentioned you just need to pick up 4 jewel sockets. However, getting even more jewel sockets on the tree and running Primordial harmony jewels greatly increases flame golem survivability and dps as it shortens the cool down time on flame wave and magma ball. This is not completely needed tho as you are not pure Golemancy and are only using them as support clear. A reverse option if you want to stay solarguard is you can use 3/4 flame golems to boost boss dps by getting a +2 helm that has socketed gems are supported by minion damage and conc effect. Then you obviously don't run GMP and take Flame golem, empower, elemental focus, spell echo/controlled destruction another interesting interaction is running 3/4 stone golems as their aoe slam taunts, keeping mobs off you. it also applies the 10 less damage taken from taunted enemies. The combo I used for damage mitagation was arctic armour (13 less phys/fire taken) lightning tendrils (proc EE), storm barrier (13 less phys/lightning taken) and then taunt from stone golems (10 less flat damage taken from taunted enemies) this effectively gives you 36% less physicaly damage taken on top of MoM and Fortify as well as the less fire/lightning. things to note with stone golem setup - I believe shaper/guardians cannot be taunted -you need at least 40% minion movement speed to make stone golems feel good as they need to move fast enough to get into the action and aoe taunt mobs. -Flame golem clear is faster Last edited by Ezekiel5#2408 on Dec 16, 2017, 9:03:25 PM

Does the "increased Damage against Abyssal Monsters" in the eye jewels affect us?

Getting one-shot a few times by abyss monster ( melee ). I alter tree slightly because dex requirement and also i'm using solar guard. I'm thinking to switch to 3tv and 1wicker. But how fast do they clear map compared to solar guard ?

wtf with VisMortis 12ex now? I do not think we need it for this build, yes we get 1 more spectre but 3 is enough for everything already, it lowers minion hp by whopping 20%, it has no solid mods like +life/resis etc. Suggest me other alternatives. I am thinking about belly of the beast, huge hp boost with some good resis plus big armor.
